    i use great swords and there are only like 3 types and yes i know there are more then 3 types but most of them are always the main 3... are that going to add more great sword variety? im using a lvl 78 sword that looks the same as when i started.

    Wait can i use a item to make it so i can use a design with diffrent stats? thanks for showing me that link you just proved me wrong.

    Yep. You can use a Transmutation Stone (gotten for free though map completion, pretty sure you can simply buy them in the TP as well) to combine the stats of one item, and the look of another.

    For items level 1 to 79, a Basic Transmutation stone can change the stats over to an item with the skin you want. For level 80 items, you need a Fine Transmutation Stone. Basic stones can be found by exploring any map. Fine stones are rarely received for completion or daily completion, but the main source is Black Lion Chests. Both types of stones can also be bough with gems.

    We used to get trolled a lot about that. Everything looks the same... There are only 3 or 5 different sets of amor/weapons... Really got annoying because it was total crap...

    So, be happy you got a nice response instead of the knee-jerk slam down...


    Same with the whole 'it doesn't feel like you progress' crap when people went back to lower zones. Believe me, when I go back to Queensdale to kill bandits for low-level craft-material drops... My full-exotic guardian is killing everything in sight without any real concerns...

    Something that wasn't true on the way up...
