Norns are also ripoffs of vikings, which were invented by WoW. Humans too. Can't ANet come up with anything original?

Pirates also ripped off Vikings.
And Dwarves ripped off Elves (Norse mythology where dark elves were small people who lived underground with my dwarf like qualities).

Worgens are racist. Read it backwards.
Charr are the most technologically advanced of the races, and more closely related to cats than dogs. Which is another point in their favor.

The Charr really do look more like Tauren (well, minotaur inspired), just switch a bovine face with a feline face. Their physique isn't feline at all, with the oversized upper body and arms, and short legs.

What's the difference between Asura and Gnomes? I don't read the books so maybe they are different, but on the surface they seem exactly the same.

Charr = non-magic technology.
Asura = magic+tech.

Actually no... According to ArenaNet, Charr are the most technologically advanced race in their universe, while Asura are the most magically attuned.
