So basically $500 can get you a gaming quality PC to run this. How the mighty have fallen. Stupid console generation. -_-
Erm..while the hostility toward console gamers is not exactly strange to see on a PC board, you can buy a 500 dollar PC and run the game to the point where it looks like an original Xbox title..should have been what you meant.
To have the game looking like it should..is going to take much more money than that. And lets not hate on console games..without them everyone would still think gamers are fat kids living in their parents basement.

For crying out loud people, post your damn resolutions, or I'll just assume you're running at 1080p.
No, you can't run it.

Seriously though, your floating right at minimum specs. you'll be lucky if you get anything higher than 20fps on minimum settings. You got the same answer last time you asked, it hasn't changed.

You sure your not confusing your gpu? There is a GTX 260M, which is a laptop card, and a GTX 260, whish is a much more powerful card for desktops.

I still say your looking at low settings. None of those benchmarks at the bottom list what resolution they were ran at, so you can't really compare them. Gw2's minimum specs are very close to bad company 2; so maybe you will get better, but I don't really think so.
