The minute you start playing Guild Wars 2 (GW2 from here on) you become captivated in it's world. The beautiful graphics,smooth,responsive controls,nice animations and good music(albeit a bit repetitive at times), all lend themselves to your enjoyment. Then,when you realize all the awesome,fun content there is,that's just icing.The combat in this game is frantic and exciting,even after combating 7000+ enemies,the battles still feel fun and exciting.The game also breaks ground with it's social features for example: When there is a mining node everyone gets it,there is no kill stealing,everyone gets rewarded,etc. etc.,this game actually makes you want to run up and help that stranger that's struggling with an accidental pull of too many mobs.The community is also great,probably because of the aforementioned social structure.Aside from the huge PvE world,if PvP is your thing then look no further.GW2 offers 2 flavors of PvP,it's instanced battleground esque structured PvP and it's woefully unbalanced but super fun WvWvW(World vs. World vs. World) That's right 3 servers all versus one another! The WvWvW takes place on 4 HUGE maps and can hold I believe some 500 players from each server(?).GW2 also touts one of the best prices in the MMO market,it's buy to play.Just buy the game and there is no monthly fees at all...ever.. This game may rock the socks off of you if you are into hardcore raids and the constant gear progression of traditional MMORPGs,but if you are looking for a great game that you can just pick up and play without the hassles of gear and having to do all this other virtual "work" then this game may be a game for you.Just make sure your computer can handle it.
