Guild Wars 2 - Shape-Shifting Thief Gameplay Movie

so the assassin can turn or disguise as other animals, what for? to complement the lack of melee , assuming this assassin overlooked the fact that it can use knives, or does it works as a ruse for enemies that tend to ignore local fauna? I think the assassin can actually become invisible, and I think that beats disguising by a long shot. PS. they redesigned the dredge? I like it, now they do look like something recognizable. PS. ok Norn can shapeshift but I thought it was into a humanoid kind of beast ints that right? PS. what with the white wolf at 0:55 is it a pet or just a local animal who was in the mood for lizard snack?

@Fonzil: Diablo is a different type of game. Don't get me wrong I'm buying both, but I think GW2 will eventually be uncontested within the MMO genre.

The animal attack animations were cool, but that close range gun play was weak sauce :-/

@Greyfoxx082 i totally agree i mean that is one of the coolest things about the game is that it actually needs some skill, unlike other mmos wiht just button meshing

Am i the only one who resents the idea of pistols in GW2? I've been following this game for years and i loved the original but the idea of guns really makes me sad.

I c there still is a lot of work to do.

It's so annoying when people play the demo like it's your average MMO, standing there dealing and taking hits. I prefer the IGN previews as the player played it like a 3rd person action game, tomb raider style, moving and dodging and shooting at the same time.

Somehow players seam to forget that you can shoot while moving. This isn't your standard stationary MMO.

please choose wolf next time and something other then thief...

didn't really do it for me...close range shooting animals in the face with pistols. I'm really looking forward to this game, but maybe not as a thief duel wielding pistols

when fighting as a cat doesn't work, shooting a mole man in the face does wonders... visually and mentally lol
