Yay triple post:
After working some more on the game, I now have the ability to send out chords. No matter the type of chord it is, you can hit it, as long as you're pressing the right buttons.
One bad thing, is that after hitting notes in rapid succession, it's possible to freeze the note chart, which sucks.
Anyone try the demo I posted yet?

Wow. Just tried playing my game with the guitar, and it's awesome. Moreso than when I was making that crappy Flashtar Hero (anyone even remember that?). Too bad I lost the source, I want to play that crap again and see just how bad it really was.
Anyways... Real question here. I have the choice of making the HOPO system like GH3, or like every other game. If you don't know for whatever reason what I'm meaning by this, I'm meaning that you can hold the buttons down forever, and still hit HOPOs. Only GH3 allows you to do this, every other game makes you press the button slightly before, or it won't work.
I can do it either way. Which way would you all like to see it?
PS: It would take a little time for me to think of a efficient way to do the non-GH3 way, but I know I can do it easily, just may take a while.

How old's your netbook? I'm guessing it doesn't really have much of a graphics card, which is why you can't install it. Try and take it to a friend's or something, and get them to play it too

Just tried importing a guitar hero custom chart and playing the music in my game. Nothing stayed synced. I don't know much about BPM or lower level music stuff, so I'm hoping I don't have to do anything with that. From what I've seen though, is that GH/RB series only use BPM to determine how fast to drain your Star Power.
Anyone know if BPM does anything else besides being useful for Star Power?
