I played the single player version on steam a year or two ago and was pretty disappointed. the game had a great concept but none of the game mechanics worked and those that did weren't very fun. I'm really happy to see they're further developing this game, I've been waiting for a good airship game for a years now! Here's the thing though, in the original you had to man the turrets and repair your ship all by yourself, which was really really really lame. If you can get a crew of some sort, ai or player, this game will rock.
