I recently bought Half Life 2 (yes i know its been out for quite a while, but i am cheap and must wait for games to go down in price a bit) and it quickly became one of my favorite games of all time. As soon as i beat it i knew i had to get episode 1 and I'm very glad that i did. Episode 1 has all the things that you love from half life 2 (except for the fanboat and buggy) only better! The action sequenses are definitely more intense, the puzzles more challenging, and alyx (too bad she isnt a real person, i would have to take her out to a nice dinner). Although the game is short, it is a definite must have for any fan of the half life series. I cant wait for episode 2 to come out! (and the extras that come with it look pretty good too)
