- "Worth the wait"
I remember being very impressed playing Halo back on the xbox. A shooter WITH a decent plot? What will they think of next...
Then came Halo 2 with all its tweaks and even more engrossing plot. Jumping down on top of that scarab is still one of the biggest "oh, YEAH" moments I ever felt holding a gamepad.
Then, roughly seven years of nothing as I didn't get around to picking up an xbox 360...until October of 2011. Yeah, I'm late to the party - I know.
Even so, I was looking forward to donning the Mjolnir armour once again.
Playing the game four years after its release, some aspects of the game feel a tad dated. Most notably the facial animations.
Then again - who cares when you're sandwiched in between brutes and the flood? Not this spartan.
There's no real point in writing an exhaustive review when pretty much everyone else has already played the game, bought the t-shirt and drunken the cool-aid. I would just like to say that Halo 3 holds up pretty darn well even today. No - it's not as flashy as say Modern Warfare or Call of Duty. But then again -- the campaign in Halo 3 lasts longer than MW and CoD combined.
I think we're all looking forward to Master Chief's wake-up call.

The game that can be said to have defined my life as a teenager - a life I sadly no longer possess.

Wrapping up the Halo trilogy, Halo 3 literally ends with a bang and is just plain fun with Forge mode and theater.

Halo 3 combines an epic storyline, great graphics, and pulse-pounding online multiplayer, along with the forge mode.....
