I admire the optimism. I wish I shared it. Unfortunately, listening to Bioware hype is half the reason I'm disappointed (no "A B or C ending" my ass).

It's not optimism. Just looking at the most likely outcome with the information provided. Bioware made many statements as to how the endings would vary and if this DLC was planned all along, then it would fulfill the promises they made of personalized endings. Otherwise, Bioware lied just about the ending and expecting nothing more than lies from them in the future is foolish, IMO. Disappointment is one thing, but how many companies that consistently and clearly lie to the consumers have lasted? I'm not an optimist, I'm a realist, and realistically Bioware would be stupid to follow up such a huge lie with more lies and disappointment.

Ooh, shiny. I always hoped there's be a new one that doesn't do a fallout 3. I love Fallout 3 and NV to death but it didn't do the Fallout Franchise justice.
Then again 3 and NV were good in their own ways and loved how they incorporated ideas from Van bueren into 3, I just kinda didn't like the implementation and the hype towards some of the DLC.

Wholeheartedly disagree with that. I found fallout 3/NV to be totally worthy successors to the original games, NV especially. The things that were lost in translation were made up for in freedom and world design while they still managed to be brilliant RPGs, in my eyes. Totally respect your opinion though, at least you arent acting like those NMA morons. (also, typing on an iphone is torture. Man, apple products are terrible.)

so, is anybody pissing their pants about dragons dogma? havent been this excited about a new RPG IP since demons souls, though i suppose that aint saying much. point is, it looks incredible. with ghost recon and max payne coming out the same month, i cannot wait for may. missing out on sniper elite after the demo though.
also loving the new ni no kuni trailer. gosh, that game is gorgeous. first time ive heard the english voices, sounds like a great dub.

looks like the greatest RPG in a long time, check it out.
having played the GRFS beta and seeing how badly ghost recon has been butchered, looks like the only game dogma has to contend with in may will be max payne. im terribly sad that i dont have ghost recon to look forward to, but i cant wait to devote my time to dragons dogma.
also, im right at the end of the witcher 2 now. cannot believe that this game got so much hype and praise. its a perfectly competent and enjoyable action RPG, but come on.
