Worst thing I can see happening for Halo 4....

- It becomes a scripted, linear, near-rail shooter that plays the game for you like the latest COD campaigns.

Originally Halo 2 wasnt gonna have a cliffhanger, infact the last level was gonna be on the ship MC was on at the end but MS told them to cut it and make it into a trilogy. Bungie was gonna end it at 2 but Halo 2 sold super well and forced Bungie to change it into a trilogy, i forget if they changed it to a trilogy before or after 2 but it was never supposed to have a cliffhanger.
The creator behind Halo was pissed at MS for doing what they did and quit after 2 came out and eventually Bungie left MS altogether cause they were tired of Halo games, ODST was gonna be an expansion pack but was changed into a full game cause Bungie wanted to leave MS.

Interesting. Halo 1 was meant to be stand alone too right? I always assumed 2/3 was a Matrix/Pirates deal where both were planned. So basically every game was against the creators wishes. I wonder how they were going to wrap up both the Flood and Covenant stories if it were to end at 2?

Are you kidding? This is the main reason I didn't like Reach's multiplayer because all the maps were boring uninspired gray arenas. Up until reach all of Halo's multiplayer maps had actual style and remnants of a background to them. Oh and they played a lot better than Reach's maps too.

I'm sorry but this is all wrong. While Halo 2 was going to be the last one it ended on a cliffhanger because bungie didn't have the time to finish the game. There were originally going to be 2-3 more levels to properly end the game but they were cut. And as for the creator of Halo there isn't just one dude claimed to be the creator of Halo. Are you referring to Alex Seropian? He left after Halo 1 because he wanted to stay in Chicago.

So what? Who cares what they look like? They were fun to play on. The default Reach maps sucked.
