Halo 4 User Review
A visually amazing jump with a new studio but fails to push anything more game-play wise simply copies guns allot.

- The Bottom Line:
- "Been there, done that"
Having previously played halo reach i was a little bit disappointed with some of the features on this recent outing.
The story starts off very noisy with my joy pad rumble feature shaking like it was a device made for Ann summers.
On i went till our hero got to the other side. I soon learn of the new aliens and promptly pick up the latest in alien weaponry thinking - hang on a bit ! aren't these a little bit like a human pistol and rifle ? (only falls apart when i reload it)
halo 4 simply tags on stuff onto halo 3. its simply not brave enough to add any new things because its a new teams first outing. Forerunner weapons are same as human weapons, Mech's same as tanks, forerunner dogs are same as those ewoks - thingys.
halo 4 simply copies far too much while not risking new ideas
Oh and the story line is all over the shop and Live subscriptions are stubborn for single system split screen games in spartan ops.
overall halo 4 is okay but i'd go for halo reach if you've not played both.
You'll love
- its a REALLY pretty game
- some very impressive character animations and video.
- its a new halo game
- still loads of customization but you need to work more for them.
- sentry guns.
You'll hate
- maps feel confusing and don't provide enough points of interest to keep the player heading in the right direction.
- could have done with some boss's or at least some way bigger than usual bad guys.
- plot just sends you all over the place and is plain confusing.
- weapons are just too much the same, leading to a muddy collection.
- battles don't feel grueling enough and feel short lived.
- fire fight replaced with boring spartan ops, which needs a LIVE subscription and doesn't support users that don't have LIVE accounts making it hard for split screen action.
- not too much replay after the campaign.
- still no BOTS for single player matches :(
- vehicles feel slippery

Recycled graphics from previous Halo's, lack of new Idea's, storyline is very dull and hard to follow. 343 Fails.

Solidifies itself as another quality installment in a venerable series.

Great Multiplayer, and Single Player takes the story in an interesting direction, but falls short of what I expected.
