I love the Halo series, I always have - it's the only reason I bought a 360 to begin with but I wasn't impressed at all with ODST and Reach left me wanting more - I mean I finished the game in one sitting. So, it was needless to say that I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst from Halo 4, however just like its prequel, 3, it left me amazed. Once again I was gawking and the incredible graphics, the typically halo story line, the fun integration of all the weapons/ power ups and enemies. From the introductory movie to the fighting I was captured. One of my favourite things about Halo is the stunning contrast in scenery- how one moment you can be in a ship (or in this case a catastrophic end-zone of covenant ships) next you emerge into sunny peaceful skies and rolling hills. I love the scenery - I think that's what's always drawn me to the game.

The multiplayer is so much fun - like it's always been in Halo - just the right amount of frustration matched with excitement. One thing I would like to see in the future as DLC is some other Halo 3 maps being added to the game. So far no cons!
