I wouldn't have played halo 4 even if it came out on PC, i have only played Halo 1 and that was on a PC. To be honest i dont get what the game is so popular for. It seemed so ordinary.

The original Xbox did enough damage to the PC gaming community that I immediately gave up on the idea of playing any of the HALO games. I remember seeing all the amazing videos in PC Gamer magazines. Then they neutered it, cut back the graphics and gave it a gamepad, and since most people had not been experiencing the amazing previous years of online PC gaming (ID, 3d Realms, Apogee, Westwood Studios) the general public was blown away by the fact that you could play a shooter online. Halo has held back gaming more than any series, even Call of Duty.

Microsoft has no interests in selling Windows as a gaming brand.

Haven't we accepted this fact already?

Halo started with PC.And even for GOW there was a PC port which was released a year later.I wish Microsoft goes bankrupt.

I really WISH Microsoft would start making them for PC again, because I'm a PC gamer, and I really like Halo, but the last one they made was Halo 2.  I haven't played Halo 4 yet, but I really like Halo 3. I don't own an Xbox, and it's not at the top of things I want to get. And really, what other genres would this game be good in? The only one closest that it could be good is maybe third person or a strategy game, but really it's only good in a FPS. If Microsoft and 343 want to span it's popularity, MAKE A PC VERSION OF THE GAME! You would be surprised how many people are PC gamers, and people becoming a PC gamer instead of console gamer.
