What I THINK is the library or maybe another flood heavy level but I'm pretty sure it's from there. The beginning of the music was just like a few repeating eerie notes over and over for awhile and I have been trying to youtube it but I just can't seem to find it, dunno if anyone could remember what I mean I know it's a long shot without any lyrics to tie to it or anything, oh well though, man that was creepy music though that went with that section. After listening to the soundtrack to that game again I remember how well it set the mood of whatever you were doing, I don't think I've heard such a great soundtrack in a game since.

if not that try, Alien Corridors (though I think that's from Truth and Reconciliation
Finally the only other one I can think of is Dust and Echoes. It should be one of those 3.

Hmmm, strange. I have the whole soundtrack but I don't think it was anything else. Wait, were you listening to the remastered version? That sounds quite different from the original songs.

@ TC if you could find a video run on YT with the right music it would be easier to identify.
If it's a Flood level it might be any of the last five- 343 GS, Library, Two Betrayals, Keyes or The Maw.
But out of those, this is the fairly distinctive start to Two Betrayals, not very eerie but it's simple and a bit repetitive:

I think the beginning of 343 GS is pulled from part of Suite Autumn, that's the only other thing that comes to mind at the moment.

Ah, no it wasn't any of those pieces, I've been searching run throughs of levels to try to find the exact piece but it's just so difficult. I know it's from the original soundtrack as well, I played the original 1000 times and Anniversary a bit. I'll keep searching and see if I can find it.

And actually I found it, I don't know why I associated it with flood probably because it was a difficult part and hearing it still makes my skin crawl sometimes.
Anyway this is it at about the 21 minute mark, is this on the soundtrack? if so thanks a lot.
