This will be my first halo game and this forge world really looks amazing, and i can see myself playing on it for a REALLY long time.

Jeez. I can't wait until this game finally comes out. Bungie really outdid themselves with this new forge world thing. The new features are great and that map is HUGE. I see myself dying many times on this map....

what kinda maps is everyone else gonna make ? I reckon ill make a floating arena type map.

Gave up on Halo after ODST, then I played the beta for REACH and it was pretty damn good, really was not expecting that. Now seeing the forge demo along with some other videos, Im completely sold!! The forge world looks so awesome and freaking huge!! Imagine playing team death match in that big ass forge world. Hell all they need now is Jet skiis for all the water! Just Awesome Bungie!!

I played halo 3 forge and i just couldn't do what all my friends were doing but with this i think it really levels the playing field

I'm not the kind of person who gets excited about the creation tools in games like halo, i tried the original forge and found it too difficult to create what i wanted but reach looks like it might be something i can work with and im feeling a little excitement about getting my hands on this now

I was hurt by Halo 3 ODST and was on the verge on not buying this one until I saw the Forge clip on the X-Box 360. It made me think of all the hours spent playing Halo-Halo 3 with my brother and cousins (Brought tears to my eyes). The forge on this game made me finally decide to pre-oreder it. Now I cant wait!

the beta was great though i was annoyed how there was like 2 playlists and i always would go into matches i didn't want to but seeing how many playlists there are in halo 3, hopefully i won't have to play headhunter 5 times in a row! i'm not sure if i am getting this or mafia 2 but i will try Mafia 2's demo and play this at my friend's house (who almost beat halo 3's campaghn in one night) and also read the reviews but damn reach is looking better than i thought it would. i thought bungie was trying to squeeze just one more game out of halo but i'm impressed!

@ Jakesmoe I would certainly assume so because a) like the other answerer stated, they're trying to make it better than Halo 3. And b) at 0:27 you can clearly see where you can select the map.

its cool you can destroy a ghost by an indestructible force, the beta is amazing

@SpArKs424 first off, calling someone a fanboy usually means you are one too. secondly, the reason that I like CoD is the variety in the gameplay. The real life weapons that you use and the different styles you can bring to your gameplay. I love Halo for the setting, the balance, and the awesome things Bungie brings to a game like Forge. I sure am glad that I'm not a fanboy and I can enjoy both great game series equally!

It is going to be so much fun working with forge in a world that big, I can't wait for Reach to come out.

@jakesmoe if they make it better then halo 3's forge then that would be a yes but we dont know for sure yet (im not a staff on gamespot fyi)

Is that the Blood Gulch map (or at least one of the maps used for Roosterteeth's Red VS Blue machinima)?

I hope they increase the Budget from 10000 to maybe 50000 or a more generous amount.

COD Fanboys what does cod offer that can live up to that and thats just One aspect of the game.

having built many maps on other games. They really need the option of a grid feature and ESPECIALLY A COPY AND PASTE FEATRUE!! These new things they added are cool but copy and paste just by selecting a bunch of pieces together and then copying them so its exactly identitical and pasting them somewhere else would be great and save sooooo much time.

Amaing game, and I can't wait to get my hands on it! I just wish they bring back Blood Gulch, it was my favorite map in all the Halo :)
