Barely playable for some reason?

Let me start by saying i love this game, but for some reason, my system can't run it properly??
These are my specs:
I7-920 overclocked to 4.1 Ghz
12 GB Corsair 1333 mhz
EVGA 480GTX in SLI
Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate
Asus P6T Mainboard
I am running the game on a 1920 X 1200 screen and i am getting these rediculous slowdowns! I disabled almost everything in the settings and i still get slowdowns! Makes the game unplayable in some areas!
What is the problem here?
Any help would be appreciated

Have you changed the "reduce input lag" option?
Open the game and choose "Extras" and run the game's benchmark. After you got the results, choose "Video Options" at the bottom of the results box. In those video options, you have the option to set "Reduce Input Lag" from "enabled" (single card) to "disabled" (crossfire/SLI).
Run the benchmark again and see what gives...
Myself, I'm getting an average of between 108 and 123FPS on "Ultra" with FXAA enabled (single 7970 card -see sig)...

Yep, i have tried that...
Funny thing is, when i run the game with only ONE 480gtx, it works flawlessly.
It just when i run it SLI that it starts having problems.
