Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix User Review
It is the best in the series, no argument on that, but fails to capture the entire story.Hit 'Continue' for full review.

- "Best in series"
One might expect the entire storyline to be included in a 20-hour game, if not a 2.5 hour movie. However, this wasn't the case with EA's latest Potter game. A large chunk of the playing time is riddled with small insignificant missions, like helping a person with their homework, or getting books for the them from the library. The game starts out in Privet Drive, with the Dementor attack, in which the player gets to do absolutely nothing. Then follows the trip to Grimmauld Place where you learn the basic spells by helping Ron,Hermione, Ginny and Sirius clean the house. Harry's trial is just like the Dementor attack, where the player can do nothing short of listen to what Fudge has to say. After the trial, you find yourself at Hogwarts, which has been fantastically created. From what I've heard, the blueprints for Hogwarts used in the movies have been recreated as a complete 3d castle. As the game advances, you find yourself being shunned from the Hogwarts society due to the Daily Prophet reports, and try to gain the students' trust by doing them painfully boring favours. The player is forced to do things like, but are not limited to:
1)Finding books for students in the library.
2)Delivering stuff from one student to another.
3)Taking on the duty of a bespectacled cupid and delivering flowers to girls.
4)Checking with girls if they'll go out with pixelated guys.
After these missions you are finally in the Room of Requirement when you find yourself faced with another horde of boring chores. The player is required to hunt down members for Dumbledore's Army, who for some reason are reluctant until you run around like Dobby doing stuff for them. Travelling around Hogwarts does get tiring after a while, but trips are shortened considerably by secret passages, which you discover as the game advances.
Camera angles can be a real pain sometimes, as each part of Hogwarts has a fixed camera angle, and you can only view that area through a specific angle, like a security camera. The real fun comes when you have finally found all the bossy members for the DA, and learn a whole new array of spells, among which is 'Levicorpus', which does not appear in the books until the next one(Half-Blood Prince).
Duels in the game are rare, and surprisingly short, but you can also duel by going to multiplayer and playing offline, which you do against computer-controlled opponents.
As some of the more perceptive people might have notices, the box says you 'can play as Sirius and Dumbledore', which is hugely misleading as you can do this for no more than 6 minutes in the game. The battle at the ministry is greatly disappointing, and will leave any Harry Potter fan in tears(as a figure of speech).
All in all, it's a pretty good game, which I would only recommend to hardcore HP fans, as anyone else will find themselves utterly lost.

I wanted to like this game. It has good graphics and music. But you just can't get around the repetitiveness...

A magical game to start off with, then you soon see that they don't make the game like the movies and books...
