@epicmickeydrew
can you elaborate?
can you give me some targets/milestones that must be achieved before certain date in a quick complete game?what I am trying to say is, what should have been done before Summer 1, and this and that should be finished before Fall 1 for example.

I just read JungleJim@s FAQ for the first time just now, and I must say his gameplay is sick!!
planting trees, get to the bottom of the mines(2 times), 73 sunstones all in 1st year spring?!
I just dont have the patience to save/reload, and got bad first week weather(didnt even thought about restarting)
The only thing that I am wondering how does he water/harvest all those crops?
Is there something that I dont know, or have I been doing it wrong all these times?
Yes he can recruit the sprites but is it really enough to cover the whole farm?
or does he sleep at 5:50 am every day?

Water from the cafe/dinner (very) slowly restores your stamina at no cost and can be purchased en masse.
You can abuse it at any time to get it up, but it takes several minutes. I've only abused it once, myself, because I had miscounted the water I gave my plants by 1, so I went back, water'd my stamina up from empty to max, and fixed the water situation with my plants. And one of them's really close to the farm, so its not a long trip.
Basically though, its one of those extreme strategies for no-lifers/perfectionists. I'm willing to bet it was abused like mad.

And yeah, I started my game with 4 straight rainy days followed by 10 straight sunny days followed by 3 straight rainy days. It happens.

You can sit there and drink water to get you stamina up? Wow. The only time I drank a lot at a time in the HM universe is when it counted for something (a Harvest Spite in HMDSC and a note in MM).

Doesn't work on fullness of course. Water restores so little stamina though that even at base stamina it may take 2 or 3 drinks for it to noticeably rise. I got lucky in that one time when I accidentally bought water, I saw it rise.
It would be insane to recover up your stamina if you had the high pendant on. Good luck taking at least 10 minutes.
On a side note, this is my first playthrough and all, but if these festivals keep giving me Purples, I'm going to start manipulating them.
The last HM game I'd played before this was FoMT, and this has managed to be different enough to reverse my burnout. Though I've already discovered water which I try not to abuse, and I was hit by the dreaded "Disappearing dog" glitch. Using the orange harvest sprite afterwards successfully retrieved my dog, though. It was just gone for 2 days.

This Summer is an all-time great. I have it saved now on Summer 1 and this is my upcoming:
1st day: Rain
2nd day: Cloudy (Sun please)
3rd day: Clear (3 sun points in 3 days yessssss)
4th day: Typhoon (Oh)
5th day: Did someone say TYPHOON? (Wtf?)
6th day: Cloudy (WHERE IS THE SUN)
7th day: Clear
After the 5th day, my field will be a disaster and it will be two days since I left my house. I'll have almost no tilled soil (or crops remaining) if I plant, and won't be able to do anything about it without clearing the mound of crap that's appeared. It will take days to fix all the damage, but I also can't get a big sun for my life.
I'm glad I looked ahead, I'm not even sure I should bother planting anything at all this Summer. Unlocking pineapples is probably going to have to wait... Again.
This game is showing me some severe hatred right now.

I have tried the water stamina restoration method. Needless to say I got bored on the 20th cup of water. It takes too long for me.
I feel you for the bad weather man. Hope that the Fall weather will be very good, so that Yam planting can cover it all back.
