The best aspects of this game in my opinion are the constantly changing scenarios, options for completing your mission each time, and the controls.
Though the game is basically about killing people (hence the name) many of the missions give you plenty of different ways to go about this. In fact, a lot of the missions steer you in different directions for executing your victims like sniping them from a distance, sneeking through their entire mansion to finally knife them in the back or gunning them down in a huge gun battle with them and their henchmen.
Gamers with different tastes will like the game since stealth specialists can strive to take out their target without alerting anyone, while people who aren't afraid to make a little noise can usually complete missions by just taking out everyone in their path.
And this game lets you do both with style. Controls are tight and it's an easy task to slowly walk towards someone, quickly draw a silenced pistol to take them out, holster your gun, take the victims clothes and then drag them behind some cover so their body won't alert other guards.
Some missions are hard but worth completing. Overall, this is just a great package, especially on a console that is kind of starved for this kind of game.

You should buy this game for its awesome soundtrack at least. This is an all-time classic stealth game. Pure greatness.

Hitman 2's deeply flawed gameplay isn't worth sticking around for.
