Is this worth picking up for half off?

Amazon has this game for 30 dollars right, I was curious about it and have thought of picking it up (I did enjoy the pre order sniper mission), but I've heard mixed things about the game. I was wondering while if it was worth picking up since it's only 30 right now.

If you're someone who powers through games, beats them as quickly as possible without taking the time to explore and try new things then I'd say no.
I paid $40 for my copy, and I'm satisfied with the amount of play I've gotten out of it.

I got it for $40 and think contracts mode alone would have been worth a full $60. Loving this game.

I paid $60 and got mine on launch, and I can't say I've even gotten $20 worth of play out of it. That might change once I go back to it, assuming they've fixed some of the more game-breaking stuff in it, but who knows. At $30, I'd say you're still taking a risk. I would wait another few months and this game will undoubtedly be at the $20 bin at Best Buy. Wait until Black Friday next year and you'll probably get it for 10 bucks or cheaper.

I paid 15 quid for mine, probably about 25 bucks for you guys, I like to power through the main story the first time through, enjoy the story, and the world, etc. And on the second playthrough really challenge myself and take my time to re-explore the world and do things 100% - and as its been said, the game is worth that much for Contracts alone, its awesome.

Yeah.... I picked this up right after it came out... Still playing it more than my other games.... More than worth $30
The game does have a glaring issue tho... That whole save game glitch still isn't fixed.... It can be remedied with backing up saves but you shouldn't have to do that...
Still worth it to me tho

Playing this through GF right now, I will pick it up even after beating it on both sides. There is so much depth to completing missions that it's just ridiculous. They say it's difficult, but to me, blood money was tougher. That's just me though. Haven't completed blood money (stuck on the ship).

people seem to agree blood money is easiest because of the lack of suspicion elements with the Ai when using disguises...
And yeah the boat level in blood money is one of my least favorites

Yes lenghty story mode with half of the levels have replayability, and contracts mode and loads of challeneges.
