If you've played the previous Hitman Games then you have a very good understanding of how Blood Money works. It's a game where you play a mysterious assasin called Codename 47.
I'll start off with the levels. Generally, they're pretty good. A selection of different types of locations gives you a sense of variety and avoids feeling repetitive. Some of the levels become a bit irratating and bothersome, but everyone will likely feel differently about each level. The targets can be taken out in a couple of different ways - But in this game, there seem to be less obvious 'ways' of taking a target out (like posioning food for example). This means the game relies on you to pick a method and more importantly a location by yourself.
The Gameplay is great. Whether you Stealthily take out your targets or Run and Gun with an M4, the games engine provides so much versatility. Because of the Rag doll physics, it's cool just to watch your enemies fly as you unload a few shots into them. 47 now has more moves too, such as being able to take an enemies gun off of them or pushing enemies over ledges.
The Guns fall a bit short in this game. Personally, I really liked the huge variety of guns that were in Hitman 2. Contracts didn't have that many unfortunately. This game provides more guns than Contracts, but are rendered useless due to the new customisation feature. There are 5 different Guns you can upgrade: Baller, MP5, SPAS Shotgun, M4A1 and W2000 Sniper Rifle.
In fairness, the upgrades are really fun. It's exciting to spend your newly aquired cash on beefing up your pistol. But eventually the upgrades get kinda rediculous, such as having twin fully automatic Pistols with a huge Clips and a scopes. The Standard guns are weak and inaccurate so you do have to spend a bit of money just to make them half decent. Also the shotgun and M4 are pretty useless unless you like killing everone and even then the shotgun is still a waste of time.
The Notoriety System is poorly done. Depending on how you completed a mission (how many witnesses mainly) changes your notoriety. If it gets too high, people in the streets will recognise you and it becomes pretty hard to complete a mission stealthily. Also after each mission you see a news paper article about the incident, this is good but it feels really half-assed. If they had spent just a little bit more time on it, it could of been really good.
Finally, the Graphics. This game was designed for the Xbox 360. As a result, the PS2 version is just a poor port from the bigger machine. The results arn't catastrophic, but they look on par/slightly worse than Hitman 2... Which was released several years ago.

Overall Blood Money is a good game. I don't like spending money, so I don't feel too good about beating this game in a day for £30. There arn't enough levels, the guns wern't really thought out, the notoriety system isn't that great. The game feels like the producers just didn't try hard enough, like they needed an extra month or two. The game is great fun though and previous Hitman fans will like it.
I'd say rent it before you buy it, Because I completed this in a single day.
