3 Like I know it's not the actual game, but still you're getting rewarded for killing as many people as possible, the exact opposite of what Hitman was always about. I guess there is some strategy here, as it looks like you are supposed to shoot all the guards and the mark in such a way that the bodies are never discovered and no one becomes alerted. I'm assuming that if you wait long enough and watch their movement patterns that will be possible.
The mission given to 47 says you must eliminate the main guy, some Jr. and all of his bodyguards :) So the actual contract is to kill the main dude and his bodyguards, that's why you get points for kills, even more for hiding and even finding some secret ways to kill (like in previous Hitman games you could make the death look like accident :) )
1 Like Since this mode has leaderboards, it kind of needs to have the player score somehow, that's why they are awarding points for killing enemies, it's just for competition and to give the fans of the games something to play while they wait for the game to release. Don't compare this to Hitman Absolution, as Hitman Absolution allows you to move 47 around freely and figure out how you want to complete each mission, whether you want to be the mass murderer or the silent assassin in the game. However, the sniper challenge game does have some elements of the past games, as you can kill your targets silently, hide bodies, or go crazy and just shoot everyone, there still is freedom of choice.
3 Like I like how casual 47 is about all this, he really looks like is just chilling, then decided to get his sniper rifle and you know, just shoot people. You really feel this is just another day at the office.

Don't know how many of these videos you've seen before, but Max is notorious for being highly unfunny, and having his, not sure how to phrase this, his " i'm trying so hard to be funny commentary" ruin the video. Shaun is allowed to make stupid jokes, because he is a valid journalist/reviewer. Wanna see just how inept Max is, watch him interview sombody
I'll trust your candor, but this particular video is not a great example of his incompetence.
