I bought this game on 12 march but pc version got steam, so i cannot play it yet dammit. Friend of mine has the X360 version and the graphics looked awefull, but game-play pretty good, it's not COD, it's Frontlines: fuel of war combined with COD elements. COD fanboys will bring this one to the ground, so dont trust the score, online mp is pretty addictive and different compared to COD.
Yeah im gonna pirate bay too if it's good I'll buy it so i can have it on my collection of GAMES!!!
It's good to see an FPS come along with a real story. I'm getting this game mostly for its' story, but if its' multiplayer is any good then I'll likely be spending time there too. As long as it's more balanced than MW2 I'm good.
it is already getting good reviews and more credit than i that it would, i want to get it really bad, and it might be highly competitive with other best selling FPS
if i can afford it i will probably get this, battelfield 3 and mw3...but i probably wont have the cash...and there are many other games i want aswell
At least the maps are of a good size, unlike K rated COD/MOH and disappointment of 2011 Krapzone3. And people saying it looks like COD, sure it is a FPS, you have guns, you shot the enemy and a few other similarities (unless I am missing something) all FPS are based on that! The game has good size maps, and if it incorporates tactics and team play/work, it could be a winner. Who cares about the single player part? nice graphics are nice, but when the game is all about shoot, die, re-spawn and do the same thing again and again, then it is not for me and should get the K rating, like COD/MOH and sadly to say like KZ3. What I have seen so far is, that this game has huge maps, and looks like a tactical shooter, I will trade in Krapzone3 in next week.
that graphics kind of look outdated. i mean the story might be good considering its the same writer or whatever from apocalypse now but this trailer showed nothing about that aspect. only gameplay which didn't look impressive especially with those kind of graphics. i know that's not the most important part of game but nowadays you come to expect a certain standard.
This could be a real unexpected true gem of the gaming industry... I don't know anything about the story, i don't know anything about the gameplay, but i know one thing, this game is gonna make us smile from the inside... Most of today's game are quite good in terms of graphics, visual style and gameplay, but what most of them miss, big time, is the damn Story line itself, and i am quite hopeful that this game would deliver on all aspects that make a good FPS and garnish it with a damn good story whose sweet memories will stay with you long after you've completed the game. If they hit it right, and if they hit it on the right time, den without a doubt, we will have a great blockbuster experience. Cheers! to such games, and cheers to all u gamers out there. Peace.
im afraid of Crysis 2.. not what i expected. Homefront PS3 ftw. BTW i saw on the critic score a 9.5? how is this getting a score before
I'm curious yet cautious. Will wait for a review and a couple of in-game videos from the day-one buyers.
Cool! Still debating wether Im gettin this the first day......not because I dont think this will rock....nope....I had to go and dowload TORCHLIGHT (christ that game is good and addicting)!

I agree. There's no need to compare games. As soon as a war themed game comes out, it's instantly compared to COD and Battlefield. Call of duty is in desperate need of some more competition anyway, then they'll have to raise their game. It seems all to easy to replicate a previous title in the series, add a few new maps, cod points, job done. Hopefully Homefront can finally bring something new and fresh to this over cluttered table, and stand alone.
@MEDzZERO: That was either 1 issue, or 5 issues... For me this game looks great. Would have been nicer to see some slightly less over-the-top gameplay.. shooting hundreds of enemy soldiers is fun for a while, but when every game starts doing it, it can get stale. Will wait for review and see how much spare cash I have when it comes out
Why must people always compare games to other games, i hate call of duty for that, gives gamers tunnel vision.
good answer....i mean, it doesnt have 2 b a cod,battlefield,killzone or whatever 2 like anyone.....in the end all we want is 2 hav fun!!!! =). but i dont lie, since i heard of battlefield 3, well....cant wait
This is a trailer? It looks like a kid made it on youtube and added up some crappy music. Also lol i guess they cant find anything actually noteworthy to say and they pic those crap quotes from g4tv and gameradar.
I mean, Halo is still my favorite game. But I'm getting this on account of I don't own a PS3, I don't like Call of Duty, and Battlefield doesn't come out for a while. And I like the story. The multiplayer sounds like a good take-off of Battlefield style multiplayer. So I'm looking forward to that. But my main purpose here is the story. So, in short. Yes, is my answer to that supposed question.
