The first part and the third part are cake, but killing the chick before she threw a knife at you was a battle against the UI and had zero skill. Poor design.

You were too close to her. I had a similar problem till I realized that she'll chase after you with her sword if you're further away (so near the entrance), which makes it way easier to hit her.

You might want to remember that this is a game about planning and positioning. Meaning, after you've seen her throw a knife in the first place, you should be ready for that.
There is nothing poor or stupid about it. She killed me on the first couple of times, then I just got used to moving to the sides right as she says her line.

ya i finally figured it out. the doors on the left and right of the room unlock after you kill the cats. i just killed the ninja close to the doors and ran in and out during reloads, throwing knives at the boss.

Seriously? I had so much trouble with parts 1 and 3, but I didn't lose 2 once after I sorted it out. Just use the right plant to kill the cats then run left so you're in a straight line with her and throw. Win every time.

Final boss easy mode (SPOILERS):
1) Grab the trophy on the right to beat down the panthers.
2) When the ninja chick finishes her dialog box, immediately throw the trophy at her to knock her down, then simply beat her till she's bloody and crawling around.
3) Wait for her to crawl behind one of the pillars, she seems to always go to the one on the left. When she's sufficiently behind it to the point where her body can be in cover with you when the final boss empties his machine guns. Finish her off.
4) She leaves like 3 throwing knives I think. The boss will unload clips from his submachine guns against you but your behind a pillar and can't be killed. When he stops to reload, pop out real quick, hit him with one of her throwing knives, get back into cover. Repeat until he kills himself.
IMO this boss battle was one of the easier levels in the game.

Wow, you can hide behind the pillars?
I just ran around the room when he started shooting, locked on and through a knife at him so he's down to 1 machine gun. Then I stood next to him so he couldn't shoot me, when he reloaded I had to dash near the entrance to get the last knife to kill him.

Easiest way to handle him is:
1. Quickly grab statue and line yourself directly in front of samurai chick (It doesn't matter how close or far you are from her, as long as she is lined up with your cursor. It can help to strafe when grabbing the statue with your aim facing straight up)
2. Beat panthers to death while lined up in front of chick
3. Throw statue as soon as her dialogue ends
4. Space bar the chick once and quickly toss knives behind the main bosses chair
5. As soon as you've finished the chick off jump directly behind bosses chair with a knife equipped. (he won't be able to kill you if you are pressed against his chair)
6. Knife him when he pauses to reload and you're done.

Am I missing something? That was always the easiest part for me. I just locked onto her and threw the item I had. It always knocked her down in one hit. She'd crawl around, and I'd just go finish her off.

You don't even need to get that fancy. Just throw the trophy at her, run over, and beat her to death before she gets up. As long as you stay behind the statues on either side of the room while she's in throwing mode then you'll be fine. This also sets you up to kill the last guy easily since all the knives drop in a pile next to him and you can spam right click to kill him insanely fast.

not to mention you can stand on the russian's blind spot of the gun barrels, without even hiding behind the statues. its not hard whatsoever. unless you're completely unaware of games and how to play them.

I don't know what version you guys have been playing but
a) she can hit you even behind pillars, so one has to run out immediately after she's finished talking
b) she doesn't crawl behind a pillar but straight ahead. and usually, that's not that close to a pillar
I recommend using a mask that lets you run faster and use the tactics that were already described.
Although one should also point out that it seems that you don't hit him with the knives at certain angles. Seems to pay off to run out a bit further from behind the pillars and only throw then.

Interesting... Took me FOREVER to beat the final boss but never once died to the ninja chick after the first time she ran up to me and cut me in half. I just thought to myself 'well don't want her getting close to me, better throw this thing at her next time' and didn't have any issues after that.
The purple cat things killed me a bunch cause I suck, and it took me quite a while to figure out I needed to hide behind the pillars to avoid the uzi, so he killed me tons.

"battle against the UI" dumb slob you put the point on top of her and click its not hard
