Im playing this game with a friend and is fun! only problem is voicechat, but we are using skype.

That bald guy's voice sounds like Dante's voice in 'Dante's Inferno'. But yeah, this game could have been nice. Remember how "Skyrim" had some arrows to the knee though, and by no means came out flawless? Well, isn't this game also by Bethesda? Maybe that explains it. Or, this just seems like some kind of sub-production to the "Skyrim"-franchise or something...

I like to watch reviews but really really friends, never buy a game because of a review.

I've played this disaster and don't understand how ANYONE can say this is a great game (per player reviews) Lighting-terrible, shooting-awful and no different from any other shooter, melee combat-sluggish, boring, again... nothing new or interesting about it. Magic- sad. This game just took a bunch of concepts and piled them into one game... but when all your concepts are done like crap.... then you just have a bigger pile of crap. The best way I can describe how bad this game is. 1. I can already buy it for less than 30 dollars 2. I got more enjoyment out of kane and lynch dog days.

A five doesnt mean the game isnt fun. A 5 means the game is not well made or not anything new

I totally agree with the comments made in the review, although I also agree that 5 seems a little harsh. I wrote a review of this myself and considered giving it a similar score simply because I was so frustrated by all of the minor problems throughout. In the end I decided that I had fun, so it deserved a chance; but it was a tough call and I don't blame the reviewer for coming down hard on it. Developers need to learn to take their time with games. I hope they make a sequel, as they could easily make a very good game out of this just by taking into account criticisms such as those in this review.

im sick of hearing how games "could have been" if i could be better at MY job i wouldnt have one! man the developers do this for a living to make money and commerce, its not could have been, it bloody well should be for 40 quid a pop!!!

@Lincvattic this is not someone writing only an opinion in some forum, gamespot is a well known site which many people use to guide which game they are gonna buy, you cannot just go saying hey i liked the game or not in a review, you have to analize the game from an objective point, what they did, and how they did it, is like saying i dont like fps but if someone want me to review it ill just give them 4 because i dont like it, as reviewer that would be wrong.

@Krelian-co: This is a REVIEW. It's based on opinion. Of course it's going to be biased because opinions are naturally biased. Do you even know what biased means? You're treating reviews like they're some type of hard-hitting journalism that can't be biased by personal opinion, when it's not at all, bias is completely acceptable here. There's no such thing as "wrong" reviews, just reviews you don't agree with.

Just finished this game last night and had a lot of fun with it. The 5.0 score is absurd. Even casting a critical eye on it, it shouldn't get less than a 7.5. Don't know what the deal is with the Gamespot reviews lately, but these off-the-wall scores are a real disservice to gamers.

Someone didn't get laid before the review. Makes sense.

Well, I have bought it and played it. It is very good. I really don't understand the low score. If you like dungeons and a good fantasy setting, you should give it a try.

Most of his complaints can be found in any third person shooter. Sounds like he wanted it to be a deeper rpg experience rather than Gears of War or Army of Two with a fantasy theme.

Every game Bethesda publishes (besides their own) has been terrible so far.

Don't buy a game without trying it, if the game is good there will be a demo to back up the marketing... if there is no demo... well, let's say that "something is rotten in the state of Denmark."

Another broken Bethesda game. Just add it to the list. Some of you need to stop getting butthurt. He says it can be fun but the majority of people aren't ok with the flaws he stated in the review. And to the people that say they didn't experience bugs, I'm not sayin I don't believe you but they said the same thing about Brink and That game was unplayable online. Looking forward to Skyrim though.

@SiLeNtWrAiTh234 i hear what he says, and thats why i can say there is something wrong with this review, been having a great time with it so thats why i was so surprised it got so low score, and this plus the lower score of witcher 2 compared to dragon age makes me think its biased.

Pretty spot on review. I have to disagree with his gripe about the gold unlocking things in the crucible; You dont need to go through the game multiple times for gold, collectibles maybe, but not gold. Simply make a 1 room high gold yield room in the crucible. I maxed out the 190k in a couple hours.

Looks like the devs didnt have enough money to throw at gamespot for a good review score : / Also i really dont understand how some people are stupid enough to not know the difference between Developer and Publisher...All the people saying Skyrim will suck because this isnt amazing, maybe you should google the two words? Or find a dictionary?

Kevin is one of the best reviewer on the net. this is another great review pointing out all the flaws in this ameteurish game.

Kevin VanOrd you are my hero! Your words are so scrumptious, I just want to eat them. I'd fallow you to the gallows, if you'd word our reasons for going there in an alluring manner. Which you will, of course. All these kids are firing pointless arrows at you. Their ill-guided frustration, in no way changes my thoughts on your wonderful reviews. You are KING! You guys are guilty of shooting the messenger.

I strongly recommend you redbox this game before you buy it. My best buddy and I played this and we are pretty forgiving with coop gameplay.(we loved the Army of Two games) We kept looking at each other saying wtf? Is this even HD? I love coop games but this is just aggravating. Kevin is right on the money with this review. Split screen on a 60inch plasma just looks like it really doesn't belong in this era of great looking games. It makes you angry because it makes you wonder if this was even beta tested. If so, who did?

does this reviewer have any vendetta against this game? the game is great but he just keeps picking the smaller of details to excuse the poor review of the game and he keeps going on and on, the game is not a 10 but nowhere near a 5 either, this reviewer as with witcher 2 makes me think is biased

I had wanted this game to turn out well but even other reviews are not favourable. Although this review is pretty low.

I still want to play this, the team who made it are not that big. Everyone is acting like Bethesda helped with this. Only the funding. How are game series supposed to get big if no one buys them? Anyone remember even Elder Scrolls III? Sorry, but there were heaps of bugs and problems in that game.

Hey Bethesda! I strongly suggest you to just publish your The Elder Scrolls series and don't think about such foolish games! That's better.

i dont care what the reviewer say i enjoyed the game and never run intro a bug or glitch in the game(for pc) and damn like i sayed i enjoyed it a lot my only that it was to short and from me for the awesome game and story i give it 7.9/10 (didnt play co-op i dont like co-op games im a single player xD)

I am trading this game in for FEAR 3 as soon as it comes out. This game is terrible. I cant believe I let the gamespot clerk tricking me into buying this garbage.
