I'm not saying cel-shade or anything, just the personality and design of the Cartoon Network Starfire.

I love CN Titans, but CN Starfire's personality wouldn't fit Injustice.

Funny, I was going to do a thread asking if you guys wanted to see Starfire in the game. So far we only have one power-based female (Wonder Woman) so Starfire wouldn't be such a bad idea.

And as far as her appearance goes I'd stick with the one in the comics.

    Sure, but not CN version...

Why would I pick CN version when this exists:

Because that Starfire is a boring ditz who sleeps around.

The CN Starfire is a far more likable character because she has more depth and is totally relatable. One of my favourite moments in the series actually came as a result of her:

Just look at those comic panels and then watch that video. Can anyone really say comic Star Fire is better?

Why? Because she has giant boobs and bangs anything that moves?

I honestly don't want either Starfire, because the history between her and Lobo would make this game M rated.

I kinda actually hate comics Starfire. I was expecting the adorable alien girl who didn't understand human culture and just wanted to have fun and make friends through being a superhero. Then I got a character whose primary personality trait is "LESS CLOTHING, MORE SEX FOR ALL! THIS IS LIBERATING, RIGHT LADIES?"

So yeah. I was wishing that the New 52 would've made her a less-saccharine-but-still-naive version of the cartoon version... and I'm still kinda hoping they at least push her in that direction. Even if she'd clash with this game's grit, I'd be all types of down for at least some way of CN Starfire getting into the DCU outside of the cartoon.

The fact that she's an alien kinda makes it a BIT more acceptable, since its an alien meeting other species and wanting to explore "biologies".

If anything, Starfire to me is like the DC comics version of Iron Man bedding almost every MARVEL female you can name at the top of your head.

Why? Because she has giant boobs and bangs anything that moves?

Once again, I better not find a fanart of Starfire and Tony Stark laughing over a cigarette.

Why on earth would we want a dumbed down children's cartoon version of a character?

And for all the whiney feminists, OMG U CANT HAVE SEX, NOT GUUUUD!, Then we'll just have pre new 52 starfire.
Anything.beats that stupid cartoon that completely dumbed down every character and made them super deformed
  • Jan 30, 2013 5:25 am GMT
What do you mean dumbed down? Cartoon Starfire had depth. Cartoon Starfire had actual motivations and character arcs. Comic Starfire is a bimbo who bangs everyone. Sex is fine, but when it defines your character then it's just trashy. She doesn't have to look like CN Starfire. She could just have the personality. The alternative is just too pathetic.

So what you're trying to tell us is that you haven't read anything even starfire pre 52 or later issues of the new 52 starfire?

Comic starfire has more good depth, personality and story than the crappy cartoon ever had, also not completely annoying.
  • Jan 30, 2013 6:05 am GMT
No she doesn't. The cartoon Starfire is a much better written character. No point in arguing with you though. Someone who thinks comics can't have badly written characters or that people who don't read comics are "filth" isn't worth arguing with.

Don't even act like what Starfire does takes a modicum of skill or is remotely comparable to what Stark does. She essentially says "I'll let you stick it in me" and the answer is a resounding "yes please" almost every time. Stark is like a key that can open any door, Starfire is more like a door that can be opened by any key. See the difference?

If they include Starfire, I'd want her to be written how she was when Marv Woflman created her. She was an integral addition to one of the best comic runs I can think of and would be welcome in this game, I feel. The cartoon version wouldn't necessarily be bad, but definitely, DEFINITELY not the New 52 version.

I guess that includes Mr. Freeze too? You comic thumpers need to get that cartoons can be well written and sometimes even better.

I wouldn't want a sexploitation character period. That's why I like cartoon Starfire more.
