Jak II : Renegade User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right

- The Bottom Line:
- "Best in series"
This was a great game all together. Not only was the Grand Theft Auto style of sandbox game play mixed with a engaging story, but the movement of a platforming game, which gives you both increased mobility and a nearly infinite range to explore. The story and theme are very interesting and fun. The story is set in a dystopian city that is surrounded by wasteland that is full of dangerous animals and the cyborg-like creatures called metal heads which want to invade the city. Because of the Metal head threat the city has form a military/police force called the Krimson Guard to keep everything under control and the city safe. Unfortunately the Krimson Guard is led by a corrupt Baron who is the self proclaimed leader of the city. As the main character Jak you must use your powers and weapons to complete missions for the underground and the resistance to bring the Baron down.

Like a Grand Theft Auto, but set in a world filled with an elf-like race of people and hover vehicles instead of cars.

One of the best PS2 titles out there. One of the most frustrating titles ever!

A classic and great cornerstone in video gaming, but not the God like game that I remembered it being.

Not only one of the best PS2 games, but also one of the best free-roam/adventure/shooter/platformer games to date.

This brilliant video charts Jak and Daxter's many heroic adventures. The Playstation 2 icons created by Naughty Dog (Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted). From the epic PS2 trilogy to the PSP hit 'Daxter'! This video has it all... 'God I miss pants.'Posted May 2, 2007
