Jeanne d'Arc User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Instant classic"
This game, based on the true story of the beloved historical figure that paved the future of France, Jeanne D'Arc, is as said before, something you don't want to miss. With plenty of attention spent on the details on the graphics, cut scenes, and game play that take the popular TBS game and makes it unique and wonderful.
This game is for both gamers that know of story behind Jeanne D'Arc and for those that sadly do not, for the story has many true events that happened in history but at the same time, new twists. These twists, with some being fictional, keep the gamers that know this story interested, wondering how this version of the story will carry on and end.
The characters are both lovable and memorable, with great voice acting, (except for one character, ruff?....O_o), and interesting unique personalities that fuel the story. Unless the French accent annoys you, it was well done.
The music, though not revolutionary, was appropriate and quite enjoyable that kept the story interesting.
Unlike many TBS games, the player has the ability to revisit previous levels to gain experience and just for plain fun. Also, levels outside the main storyline and activities are open for players.
The gameplay was very engaging, with unique changes that make this game unique, though not a class of its own.
This game overall is a great buy and in my opinion one of the top games one can play on the psp.
