Here is a video review, by TangentsLP, which turned me on to Jool.

The artworks made this an insta-buy. Now, it really is a lovely game - no disputing that. The game speed gets faster after some minutes, there is a of growing degree of difficulty. The switching mechanic also piqued my interest and works well. They used the build in accelerometer for it and it have a high response much better than common flipping response.

Jool plays kinda like nyan cat with more twists. To be earnest I have no idea what I am doing in the game, but it is quite weird and wonderful. I like to explore things for my own, and dont need a big bording or tutorials. The death cut-scenes, those were neat, and also very well done. Hats off, chaps.

Overall this has got to be one of the strangest games I've seen in a while.
