Jurassic Park: The Game - Action Montage Trailer

Hmmm... Looks great so far. Being a fan of the Jurassic Park movies, I hope this turns out good. We're just gonna have to wait and see...

This might date me, but I remember the old side-scrolling game where you played as Dr. Alan Grant for the Sega Genesis. Yes, I was a teenager when Jurassic Park was first in theatres.

I didn't quite get the game play of this game, is it third person? is it pint and click? I remember the Dino Crisis was a great game and i hope the experience of JP will be at least the same.

Should have implemented some sort of branching game-play. Instead of having the linear story, in which you cannot advance if one of your, likely irritating, party members dies; let us move on anyway without them. At least this would give us some re-playability. I've always liked the Jurassic Park story, hope this one turns out all-right :D

I'm hoping for the best with this game. The dinos don't really seem alive to me. That's kind of a big thing because the appeal of the original JP was that they were so believable. I can get over the graphics, it's just the dinos look too robotic IMO.

I'll probably wait till all the episodes are released so I can play it all at once, instead of having to wait 2 months for the next part, which is really annoying. I think I have more than enough new games coming out soon that'll keep me going till that time. But can't wait to play it, all the same.

I am really hoping this game turns out great. I am a big Dinosaur game fan. Looking great so far!

would everybody stop b-tching please? the graphics are not that good, yes... it may not be a milestone in videogame history either... but telltale games is not ubi, ea or id but their games were great even with dated graphics... plus it will probably be pretty cheap so calm down and wait for the release before complaining, its not like this gives that much information about the final game...

are we in 2011 or 2001? these graphics could have run on PS2

@valent1n Oh no yeah totally! I'd love a new Jurassic Park game, just maybe not this one :P Correct me if I'm wrong but this looks to be an episodic download thing (my guess it more of an interactive movie). Can't beat the Jurassic Park games on the Mega-Drive!

@valent1n The original movie is being re-released at cinemas (in HD I think, possibly 3D too?), my guess is it's targeting that window.

I could think of hundreds of ideas for a good Jurassic Park game. A quick time event button masher is certainly not one of them. Make a real game, or don't make it at all.

Quicktime events? yeah that sucks... that's not playing that's just playing "simon says". These developers are just trying to squeeze whatever they can from a license they probably brought. They should just make a game where you're a caveman trying to live in a world with dinosaurs and other clans. RPS, firstperson style goal is to survive and claim leadership amoungst the clans and choose a mate. All this while the modern man is on the fronter encrouching on neatherdal territory - YEAH BABY

i watched gameplay and its all controlled u just have 2 push certain buttons when they pop up the whole game is quick time events it looks soo dum, if they made it where u could control would be better

I heard something about a reboot for the film, but nothing about this game.

This trailer makes the game seem a lot better than what the game play trailer made it look like.

hmm...could be decent 6.5 considering the past few, though I hope they touch up graphics and give option to play either human or beast side.

i hope this isnt rated T with 0 blood and Gore. I hate when games have people getting torn apart but show no gore. if there is Man eating Dinosaurs give us gore.

know what? i watched the original movie about 30 times as a kid and i think this game will let me relive that great movie with new suspense and thrill. i say this because it looks and feels like the original. dont look for graphics or button mashing gameplay, look for the heart that went into it.

@AARONPSP5 bro ive never heard them soudn like lions like that before, and i never said anything about them being plastic-y, and i i loved the first movie! the second one is still my favorite tho :P

The graphics look like garbage. Let's hope the gameplay makes up for it, or maybe their will be some depth in the plot and characters (if it's based on the movie, then that's a big NO!). Still curious to see what kind of game they make. It'd be nice if it wasn't your run of the mill FPS or TPS tie-in.

well, the dinosours look good and the sound is there... but the character models are really plastic and graphics don't look good overall (except for the dinosours). we can hope for good gameplay, i'll buy it if it gets a 6.5 or more ;P (and if it's gonna cost 30? or cheaper hihi xP)

@Legojake94 You must have hated the Jurassic Park movie then 'cause thats exactly how it sounds. and the models aren't plastic-y that's just the game's design. Can they be better, yes but that shouldn't take away from the game's experience.

Really no hope should be put in this game. All we can like about this game is the presence of dinosaurs. Let's hope this game serves as a reboot. Pray they don't frown upon the poor ratings that they WELL DESERVE and stop making any more dinosaur games.
