I hope you guys who are buying it to play with your mates have at least 8ft of space! 10ft optimally though, if you want to play with more than 2 people. Of course, if this is something to play by yourself - then just make sure you have 6 foot of space wherever you put your Xbox (bedroom *cough*).
IDK why tech demos are becoming full games. Same thing for the Move. Havent seen anything worth buying yet. The only thing i can see buying is RE5 Gold and Dead Space Extraction which is free with Dead Space 2.
This could actually be a bit of fun with some mates and a few beers standing around the TV. My GF might even play xbox with me now! I think the Kinect just made my xmas list.
What would really be useful? Moving towards the sensor to see the minimum distance needed for it to work, not just parroting what the manual recommends.

I must admit, it is hard to see the entertainment value here. But having tried this, I can honestly say, it is fun to play. I don't know how long Kinect Adventures! can remain entertaining, but I really enjoyed trying it out.
Aww man.. I thought there was going to be a PlayStation Move inside the box... I'm disappointed!

After watching that, I want to go cancel my pre order. If you are going to use people to actually show off a product, then make sure you select participants who have some emotion. Gamespot has the dullest staff I have ever seen. I cant stand the reviews. Here's some advice. Stay away from the front of video cameras and stay behind a desk writing reviews!
it looks boring but pretty cool too.. at least a lot better than the ps3 move or the wii.. i wonder how gears of war would play using this kinect? or a 1st person shooter, this is pretty cool technology but i'll wait about a year to actually see it evolve, for now i'll stick to regular controllers
Ben_500 all ps move games sucked at launch all ps3 games sucked at launch all 360 and wii games sucked at launch so whats your point....your acting like its an instant fail and its not even released yet let alone enough time for something good to come out. 130 pounds is not that much comparing it to the move where 2 controllers and 2 navigators plus an eyetoy equals the price of a WII it self.
I asked in my local Game store (uk) and they said they sold out for pre-order on the release date, (about 150 units) now they are worried if they will get enough in for Xmas, But i cant work out how, its such a bad device, at £130 a unit its nuts, ok it does control DVD and Sky and zune playback etc.. and the voice control is good, but the games so far suck! Capcom is looking at releasing an FPS Mech style game for something less childish but TBH as far as i can tell this is nothing but a full waste of time.. as i already have a wii and the PS move looks to allow interaction with "real" games i cant see how this has so many pre-orders? It just reminds me of the PS2 Camera system games that, like this, was boring after 10mins!

Lol this is so dull, they don't have any fun at all. Just picked three victims that HAD to play this and show it on Gamespot. Oh well they get paid.
