- Nov 27, 2012 5:51 pm GMTI'll do b investigate
- Nov 28, 2012 7:42 am GMTRoute A: 'Factory':
If you chose option 'A':
You decide that the stone relief isn't worth worrying about and you leave to check out another area. Once back on the factory floor, you run into a little trouble...(Check out the Boss Battle section in the next post).
If you chose option 'B':
You step closer to the relief and give it a detailed examination. Nothing sticks out at you, but the fire symbol upon it piques your curiosity. You wonder what might happen were you to cast Fire on it, so you do so. The symbol starts to glow a crimson red, but nothing else seems to happen. Mystified, you leave the room and head for the stairs. Right before reaching them, you notice a door that was not present before. You try to open it, but are unable to do so by hand. The Keyblade isn't able to either, to your surprise. Noticing another fire symbol, you figure you can cast it again to get inside. Before you cast the spell, an ominous feeling takes hold of you, as if opening this door isn't a good idea. Should you do it?
1: Open the door with your magic. (1 spell use)
2: Leave it alone and head upstairs.
Route B: 'Empty Lot'
If you chose option 'A':
You give the crumbling wall a good strike with the Keyblade, breaking it down in one hit. After the dust settles from the fall, you step inside, finding yourself in a tunnel. You walk down slowly, ready for any kind of attack. After a few minutes, you come to a crossroads of sorts. You look down each tunnel, wondering which one to take. Suddenly, a loud banging is heard from the right, seemingly moving towards you. Uh-oh. What to do now?
1: Head right and confront whatever it is.
2: Go left and escape the thing.
If you chose option 'B':
You head back up the ladder, unable or unwilling to go through the wall. Once back up topside, you find someone waiting for you...(Check out the Boss Battle section in the next post).
Alright, will you guys chicken out, or face down your fear bravely?

If all bronies are shipping freaks, then all KH fans are Yaoi Fans and all CoD fans are 12 year-olds. - Nov 29, 2012 9:15 am GMTRoute 'A': Factory
If you chose option 1:
You shake off your sudden fear and cast Fire upon the door, dispelling the seal around it. The door then swings inward of its own accord, revealing a pitch black room. You hesitate to step in, unable to see what's around. Just as you begin to question if you even should, a voice from behind startles you, causing you to whip around and brandish your Keyblade menacingly at the newcomer. You immediately remember the reason you went off investigating in the first place, as you come face to face with a man in a black trench coat, his vibrant red hair a large swath of color in the shadowy hallway. He ushers you in forcefully, an odd smile on his face as he does so. Once inside, torches come alive without warning, revealing a very large space with an weird looking symbol adorning the entire floor, as well as the walls and ceiling.
Behind you, the man whistles loudly, obviously impressed. He reveals that he's been following you for a while now, wondering when, or if, you'd notice. Resisting the urge to grimace, you turn your Keyblade upon him again, demanding to know who he is and what he wants. He gives you a comical grin, and simply says,
"The name's Axel. Got it memorized?"
This is followed by him summoning two odd looking weapons. You vaguely recognize their shape from a book you read once; chakrams, they were called. Axel tells you to get ready, as he wants to see what you're made of. Damn, you've got a fight on your hands now.
If you chose option 2:
The foreboding feeling makes you cautious about opening the door, and you decide to forego it. You work your way all the way back to the factory floor, ready to head back to HQ, when you're stopped in your tracks by a tall man with red hair, wearing a black coat. You realize that this is the guy you've been looking for. He chastises you for being scared to proceed through that door you found, and thinks you a coward. Your anger sparks at this comment, and you summon your Keyblade in response. The man counters by bringing out his own weapons, two chakrams of elaborate design, and wonders how tough you are. He quickly introduces himself as Axel, asking you if you've memorized it only a second afterward. He then tells you to show him what you got. Why don't you do just that?
Route 'B': Empty Lot
If you chose option 1:
Fear grips you for only a moment, as you make the decision to pull a preemptive strike and stride confidently into the left tunnelway. This bright idea leads you to a meeting with some simple Soldier Heartless! Nothing scary there. You prepare to get rid of them, when something fiery flies by you, striking the Soldiers and defeating them instantly. Turning around, you see a man in a black coat with bright red hair in the midst of catching the returning weapon.
"Ta-da!" he says, smiling.
You go into a battle stance without hesistation, almost deciding not to bother asking the man for his identity. He tells you it's Axel, along with an odd question about whether or not you memorized it. Before you can choose whether or not to answer it, Axel makes a comment about it being too cramped in the tunnel for a proper fight. A corridor of darkness appears behind you suddenly, obviously summoned by Axel. He then hurls his weapon at you, striking you dead in the chest and sending you into the corridor.
You emerge back in the lot, with Axel right behind. Once you get up, Axel tells you to show him your stuff. You know what to do.
If you chose option 2:
The same as above, but without the Heartless since you went left. Sorry, running out of room here. Just check out the following post, will ya?

A: Attack before he does; hard and fast.
B: Hang back and see what Axel does first.
C: Just pelt him with a spell. (1 spell use)
Phase 2 options-
The first few attacks Axel launches are fairly simple. Now he gets a little tricky, moving faster than you expect and getting behind you with ease. How to counter?

C: Leap backward and ensure you get out of they way.
Only two phases you ask? You'll see....

Don't worry, the boss fight is the only thing that's common between the two scenarios. What happens next depends on which route you took.

"The angels have the phone box". - Nov 30, 2012 8:26 am GMTBoss Battle results-Phase 1
If you picked 'A': Axel is caught off guard by your tenacity. You get in several hits before he can get away. Excellent! No damage taken.
If you picked 'B': You cautiously watch Axel while staying just out of his range...or so you think. Chakrams serve as throwing weapons too, remember? He takes you by surprise when he tosses a flaming chakram your way and nails you with a direct hit. Oops. HP loss.
If you picked 'C': While Axel seems like he just wants to play with you, you get straight to it and fire off a spell. He dodges it easily, but isn't expecting the thrown Keyblade that smacks him right in the face. Nice follow-up. No damage taken.
Phase 2-
If you picked 'A':You guard his first attack....then his second...and third...and fourth. Axel combos effortlessly, keeping you from doing much of anything. This back and forth goes on for quite a while. Hmm...at least you didn't get hit. No damage taken.
If you chose 'B': Axel's fast, but so are you. Your well timed dodge roll leaves you in a prime position for a countermove. The magic soars from the Keyblade, finding its target swiftly. Hah! Take that, spiky hair! No damage taken; 50 bonus exp. points earned if Blizzard was used.
If you picked 'C': Leap after leap after leap. That's what you do to keep out of Axel's range, but that gets to be tiring after a while. Axel's persistence eventually lets him hit you. Damn. HP loss.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The battle becomes rather fierce in its last few moments, as Axel piles on the pressure. Things are brought to a standstill, however, when another joins the fray. You recognize him immediately; Xemnas! He appears in between you and Axel, a hand outstretched to halt Axel in his tracks. He tells the red haired man to give up his foolish game and accept the consequences of betrayal. Axel shakes his head in disobedience, a cocky grin plastered on his face.
"Not on your life, 'Superior'. I know what you're trying to do, and I can't let that happen."
"Are you so determined to defy me, number VIII? How very foolish of you."
"Oh yeah? Heh...I guess we'll have to see, won't we?"
Axel then disappears into darkness, re-appearing behind you and taking hold of you.
"How about a little trip, eh kid?"
You have no time to react before Axel throws you into the corridor before going in himself, leaving Xemnas standing alone.

About Abilities: You've just learned your first ability! Abilities will grant you different kinds of support depending on the ability in question. Since all abilities are shared by all players, I will keep track of them and what they do for you. No extra work on your part.

Actually, new players can feel free to roll through past events and make choices as they go, or you can join at the current event and I'll adjust your stats a bit so you aren't too far behind. Nature of the game and all that jazz.

"The angels have the phone box". - Dec 1, 2012 3:44 pm GMTOkay, here's how this is split. If you went and investigated inside the factory, keep reading as you are on Route A. If you went to the empty lot behind the factory, go to the next post, as you are on Route B.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Route A
After only a few seconds, you find yourself falling out of the dark corridor, landing clumsily in a disoriented heap on the ground. Well, that was an interesting way of travel. Standing up, you dust yourself off and think that it's time to head home, but you see that that might not be possible at the moment as your eyes take in the sights around you. It is quite apparent that you are no longer in Centropolis. This place is nowhere near as full as the city was, and has much more of a town vibe to it. A glance upward reveals the sky is a swath of pink, purple, and orange. Must be the hour of twilight. Behind you lies what looks like a train station of some sort, as you can just barely spot a small train beyond the doors. Yep, home this isn't.
With no idea of where you are, you figure you might as well just walk around and get to know the place. Heading away from the station, you follow the main street down a hill and past what you're sure is an item shop and into a wide, open area. A trolley nearly bowls you down as it rumbles by, you inattention causing you to ignore it. As you take in the sights, you spot a treasure chest. Man, they pop up in odd places. Opening it nets you a Pumpkin Pie Recipe. Without warning, a very large group of....somethings appear out of nowhere and surround you. What is it with opening chests and being surprised? Your first reaction is that they're Heartless, but you quickly come to the conclusion that you're wrong about that. These things are white with no locatable eyes and make some really odd movements. A zipper hangs on their heads, as if they could close up their..mouths...at any time. You think to fight, but a part of you says to run seeings as they've beat you in number at 10 to 1. Your choice on what to do.
A: Fight the strange enemies.
B: Run away and assess the situation.
I'm sure you can guess where you are, right?

"The angels have the phone box". - Dec 1, 2012 3:59 pm GMTRoute B
The corridor of darkness deposits you unceremoniously a few seconds after entering it. Briefly wondering whether traveling through those things are always instantaneous, you proceed to take in your surroundings. Well crap, you are definitely not in Centropolis at this point. Wherever Axel sent you to, it's clearly seen some hard times recently. There are obvious signs of a reconstruction going on, as you can see building materials and a large crane nearby. The buildings around you look solid, though perhaps they were just finished not long ago. Okay, you're in a small town of some sort...you think, but there's no one around to direct you, which sucks considering the reconstruction.
You rescind that thought just a second later, as someone does come running by. It's a boy probably no older than you, with questionable fashion sense given the vest he's wearing with no shirt underneath. A bit feminine looking too, you add. He throws you a wave but doesn't stop, saying something about being in a rush. Maybe that guy knows more about this place. You could follow him and find out, or you can explore on your own. Hmm....
A: Follow the young man.
B: Check out the place by yourself.
If you've played KH2, you should be able to figure out your location easily. As for the teen, you might know who he is too, if you've played one of the later FF games.
