I would play it if done right. It would be a ripoff, but ripoffs can be fun. Playstation All Stars is a very shameless Smash Bros ripoff, but it's pretty good.

And if there's a Pokemon world, that would be very fun. Just so long as each world changes its gameplay style to accommodate the new setting. So, a side-scroller for a Mario world, exploring a dungeon for Zelda, ....whatever Kirby games do (eat things?), etc.

Aww yeah! Pokemon, Metroid, Mario, Zelda, Fire Emblem, Donkey Kong, and Kirby. BTW, Kirby does more than eat stuff

I agree with Slm as how to Disney treats KH overall, you could find some merchandise on Disney world but that's the only thing they have really, small crappy merchandise.

tbf, I was saying KH treats Disney badly, not the other way around.
But the opposite is also true, so I guess it evens out.

I mean, just looking at KH1 -> KHII, look at how much we gained. We got a hugely influential new Disney character in the form of Yen Sid. Merlin got a voice and a much bigger role. We got a Hercules world with an actual explorable environment. We got a retro Disney world. We got Disney Castle. We got two live-action Disney worlds. We got a musical Disney world. We got Scrooge McDuck. We got more Disney worlds with their own costumes. We got a Disney world where the entire battle system was revised just to make the world work.
This is not a downgrade. It's not a decline. It's more. And more and more and more.

And Disney characters/worlds continue to still be very much a part of the main story. DDD especially has the worlds be quite important to the plot.
