Kingdom Hearts combines characters from Disney and Final Fantasy and allows you to travel to the worlds of Disney movies such as Tarzan,Aladdin,Hercules,Alice in Wonderland,Little Mermaid etc.

The story is about a group of friends who live on the tropical destiny islands until the islands are destroyed by creatures known as the 'Heartless'.The heartless consume the hearts of living things and Sora is the one who is chosen to use a weapon/lock known as the the keyblade to lock the keyholes which are passages the heartless use to attack worlds.

Sora has painful memories of something that happened to somebody close to him and the story has other emotional moments and I'll let you discover them for yourself.

Goofy and Donald Duck also join the group and can be used in your party to battle along side with you.When you travel to the different worlds,other characters such as Tarzan,Aladdin,Ariel can join your party temporarily.

The gameplay mixes hack n slash combat and platforming.There is RPG elements such as levelling up,spells,summoning.If you're familiar with the Final Fantasy series you'll recognize spells such as fire,fira and firaga and cure,cura,curaga etc.You can summmon Disney creatures like Simba (Lion King),Genie(Aladdin),Bambi,Tinkerbell(Peterpan) etc.You will also travel in a spaceship(Gummi ship)to different worlds and you'll need to shoot your way through dangerous environments(shoot em up style).

Bad guys from Disney movies play the roles of some of the bosses such as Jafar and Ursula.

Final Fantasy characters to appear in the game are Squall,Aeris,Cloud,Yuffie,FFVII version of Cid,Selphie,Sephiroth,and younger versions of Tidus and Wakka.Even though the Final Fantasy characters make either cameo appearances or are in small segments of the game,it's nice to have them there.

I had trouble finding where I had to go next when I played this game though.

I liked travelling through the different Disney worlds.I like how I could swing across vines and move move from tree to tree in Tarzan's world.In Ariel's world,you will have to swim and travel through underwater caves and sunken ships and fight off giant sharks.There's nice towns to travel through which remind me of Disneyland.

I like how Tarzan's world has green jungle and beautiful blue water that you can swim through.In Aladdin's world,there's the Arabian style village and desert.In Wonderland(Alice in Wonderland)everything is wacko and amusing.Ariel's world looks lovely being under the blue ocean all the time.At the Coliseum(for the Hercules movie)you must face a lot of enemies and tough bosses in gladiator style battles.

The environments are colorful and imaginative.You'll even see scenes with Micky Mouse(who plays the role of a king)and he's dressed like a king and you'll see scenes of his castle.The emotional scenes are delicately shown and even things such as the ocean are shown in a cinematic way.

This game is easily one of the best and most memorable games released on the PS2 and it's original and if you have any interest in Disney or Final Fantasy you should play this game.
