Ken Rolston, the legendary designer behind the hugely successful Elder Scrolls games, charms Jane Douglas's heart with his childlike excitement about his new game, Kingdoms of Alamur: Reckoning.
this guys a legend, acting slightly crazy is just part of his character and shows that hes passionate about his work (i see it as a good thing). This game is going to be amazing, they have brilliant talent behind it.
This game will kill Skyrim!!!!!!! cant wait for this game. . .i just saw the demo ofthis game from ign! :D
You gotta admire the passion for gaming at his age, but that was painfully corny. I have high hopes for this game but I hope the developers don't get too involved in trying to please everyone. Hardcore RPG fanatics and Action RPGamers are just a different breed. Too much focus on one is sure to piss off the other, Yet not enough focus is bound to leave some missing mechanics.
R.A Salvatore automatically makes this a must-buy. Have you ever read one of his Drizzt books? You should. Their flippin amazing.
So even though it's an "action RPG" Ken Rolston makes the point that for those who enjoy open world, exploration based RPGs (Elder Scrolls, Fallout) that experience is in there as well. So there's a very good chance I'm going to like this game.
@Vincecyc To be fair, Ken Rolston seems like the kind of person who would get excited over just about anything... In this case, however, I share his excitement - an RPG with proper real-time combat... should be good.
he said kick ass combat at least twice. looks like another photoshoped conveyor bul how dumb can some people be to even look at that crp...
HolyMoly he is very excited & confident in his game, a rare find, instead of most are just telling this & that with expression imply that "what so excited about coz i been force to make this to make $$$ out of dumb down audiences" i definitely keep this under my radar if it good i throw in few coin to get the collector edition to support them. EA plz Don't screw this one.
I know a guy that is also similarly excited by the games he works on... His name: Peter Molynuex. Not that I'm implying anything... Games looks AWESOME!
Now this is a producer that truely loves everything about his game! He made me extremely excited to play this, getting this for sure
Wowzers beauty inspiring with throbbing pulsing TSR like completeness! Truly nothing great and wondrous is impossible at the hands of BIG HUGE GAMES. Great to see Ken Rolston at his always best doing what he loves to do and giving props out to Bethesda. Buying KINGDOMS OF AMALUR for sure when its ready for release.
McFarlane Creature Creator Extraordinaire R.A. Salvatore. He is one of my favorite story tellers of all time. I.Am.Sold. If anyone was wondering where the passion in making video games was... I think Ken drank it all. Oh, let me choose gender. My rogue-like must be female.
It's nice to see a developer so excited about his game. Big fan of Todd McFarlane and spawn. This has great potential!
Been following this since ive heard about studio 38 and the dream team..Game looks better than any elder scrolls game even skyrimm..Sorry elder scrolls fans but i think competition is in the making with this game..Ill be buying this day one..This guy knows how to make games..Looks kick buttish..Cant wait..Shame it was pushed back to 2012..
"Live in righteous indignation that you've been given the controller" wtf? I'm now officially worried about this game. It's the charlie sheen torpedo of truth tour.
