Kirby makes a "Yarnful" return to a homeconsole on Kirby's epic yarn. Since Crystal shards for N64 Kirby hasn't had a new adventure on the homeconsole but finally returns in this yarn packed beautifully designed new adventure! there are new gameplay mechanics your going to handle but its still our lovable kirby!

The yarn visuals are very colorful and well designed, its very creative and since its new, its making a huge impact. Its not kiddish and should be looked onto as a brilliantly designed game.


Story wise, Kirby's been sucked into patch land by the evil Yin-Yarn who caused trouble in patch land and its your job to save it!

Gameplay wise, allot has changed. Kirby has lost the ability to Suck(He's made of yarn, air would just go through him) so he will have to make use by using a strand of string to help him pull,swing,unravel his way to victory!
But its not kirby without its tranformations....
Since he lost his ability, kirby already has a few transformations while playing, Double tapping would allow you to turn into a car to run faster, holding the jump button would allow you to turn into a parachute to float, and pressing down while in the air will allow you to turn into a weight and slam down. There are parts in the game where you'll need to transform into specific things like the a dolphin, a rocket, an that Tank kirby youve seen on the trailer/commercial.
Also, you cant die, this might be a throwoff to some gamers but the main point in this game is to collect a certain amount of beads to pass the level. The ranks go from wood,bronze,silver, and lastly gold. Any hit will cause you to lose beads so you best be careful!

This game also has a Wonderland of extra's as i said earlier. First off, you can find treasure in your adventures, swing your string to open up the treasure that can contain anything from furniture to soundtracks of the game!
Furniture will be used to decorate your own apartment for kirby! you can even place them anywhere you want!
There are also allot of missions you can take part on in Patch caslte, like collect a beads on a certain amount of time or help someone find his friends and just a bucket load of extra stuff besides the main adventure!


The difficulty is........interesting.
As i stated, you need to collect a certain amount of beads to complete the level, however it makes the game easy by having the first rank easy to get. The adventure mode is simple and easy to beat but here's the interesting part:
The adventure is easy but completing the game %100 is not so easy.
While just beating adventure mode with no care at all is a cake walk, beating the whole game %100 is like holding 2 eggs staked up on a spoon while walking on a tightrope.
Getting all gold, beating the extras levels, collecting all furniture,soundtracks, beating the missions and all the other extras are hard which makes this game very fun and addicting.

If you have a wii, do yourself a favor and buy this game. Its very designed to fit for wii standards and its a good way to relax on a beautiful colorful setting after playing some hardcore games. and come on, who DOESNT like kirby? This game is perfect for your wii library and has huge content so give this game a try, you'll love it!
