I had heard only good about the revamped classic Klonoa for the Wii from video game experts who got to test it early on. I must admit, I expected something stunning and awe-inspiring. What I realized, however, is that this game is not stunning, but special nonetheless. It's short, it's generic, it's incredibly easy to just whiz through a level without a single thought or pause. Among that plethora of technical issues lies beautiful graphics and a platforming concept we've all come to know and love. No matter how basic it is, its wacky storyline and even wackier characters make up for it. This game is definitely one marketed towards kids, so if you are really against cartoony types of games, stay away. But if you're any bit partial to playing a relaxing and beautifully rendered Wii experience, then Klonoa is right up your alley. I must admit, I enjoyed it. Be it too short, too strange, or even too simple, it is what it is and it should be appreciated for that fact alone.
