L.A. Noire Retrospective Interview With Brendan McNamara

i did love the game in the start but i hate the game in the end because philps dead there are so dump to kill the hero and end the game and the case is never solved u fill like are been hanked up i hate it i hate the script writer dont play the game

In retrospect of the now known forced 7-day, 12-hour-a-day work schedule at Bondi, I could absolutely see this red-eye of a monkey being responsible for it. The only unfortunate part of the Rockstar involvement with LA Noire, is that Bondi will take a lot of flak for it, and there will probably be layoffs - those same people that worked so hard and were forced to give up so much of their lives will now be unemployed. Way to go McNamara, buttmuncher.

LA Noire was a fun game.... good that now it's coming to pc! But where's Red dead Redemption? :(

GODFATHER 2 or LA Noire??

@naryanrobinson Well all of my games on the PC are purchased through steam apart from Starcraft 2. The only thing I pirate is Modern Warfare 2 and onwards since it's the samething as COD4. I did buy COD4 through steam though. Battlefield is a must buy game for PC gaming though.

Playing as a cop is boring, after the game is over you can't do anything because you are forced to be a boring cop. When you arent some lame dude in uniform(like RDR and GTA) the possibilities are endless! Bring on the next Grand theft Auto! No more lame cop games...I want to be shooting cops in my games, not interrogating people as one.

@TonnFool23 I think it would work enough. Anything is crackable, I personally know loads of people who pirate all their 360/PS3 games. I think it would have the desired effect. You wouldn't end up doing a Spore. And again, physical media costs an absolute load of cash too.

I really enjoyed this game. It was very different from anything I've ever played. There was a lot of things that made you really think and if you effed up a case the emotional impact was tremendous. I can't wait to see what these guys do next

@naryanrobinson Still woudln't work, Skidrow cracked many games that were steam only.

Now I know where George "The Animal" Steele ended up. btw, I loved the Getaway lol

"It doesn't really pay the bills or keep anybody in a job" - Brendan on the PC platform. If you release the game as a Steam exclusive, I think you'll find it will pay the bills, not to mention saving on physical media.

LA Noir Facial and body capture for animation in a GTA title would be awesome

LA Noire was very much a love it or hate it title. I had a great time playing it, but I completely understand those who didn't enjoy it. If you watch the most recent episode of south park, they're a little rough on the game, but that appears to be the common sentiment among those who were disappointed by the lack of combat. I think a game like this is great for the industry, but by no means do I want to see much more of this playstyle. What I mean is its a welcome change from the shooters that flood the market nowadays, but I don't want to see a trend of the Noire/ Heavy Rain type games because they can get repetitive and dull very quickly.

great game on the ps3 , didnt know it was 3 discs on xbox....wow. happy with the amount of DLC comin out already would like to see more gun fights though really thought about that alot while playing

I really like Heavy Rain too, but calling Team Bondi's technology a dead end was just kind of a narrow minded statement from David Cage. Just seems foolish for him to believe that they wouldn't continue to develop and improve this process and carry it into future games cheaper and better.

Great work by Team Bondi on a new type of game. I'm really glad Rockstar backed this game and allowed it to be made right. I have fun playing it and hope they do support it with even more DLC and someday a sequel.
