What can you say I expected a little more but what I got was not bad by any means.
The LA setting is brilliant and itīs nice to be in a real city instead of another made up city that sort of resembles the real thing.
First the good: Great stories and voice acting (not to mention the facial animations) the stories were great, and I was hooked almost all the way through.
It was fun going through the different departments and working with new partners on cases and the interrogation sequences which I failed at quite allot (people skills = 0)
Now the bad this list is unfortunately longer than I would want it to be:
Very linear gameplay and no matter what decision you make it almost seems to lead to the same outcome.
Some cases can last longer depending on the decisions you make, but adding a car chase was not what I had in mind.
And if you try to wound a criminal instead of killing him you will find that even a shot to the arm will kill them, and there is no way you can take them alive. However some cases are about catching criminals but those are specific cases.
The story mode really falls flat when we approach the final act it seems really rushed and the corners that were cut developing this game becomes painfully obvious.
However despite these flaws I strongly recommend it for something different, just donīt expect another Red Dead Redemption.

Clunky controls, dated gameplay... weird face animations.

Despite some design flaws and its repetitive nature, L.A. Noire is an innovative title that's worth checking out.
