He is direct linking, actually. Notice his urls end in .png. It's just that the new Photobucket is so godawful it doesn't allow it. If you have Text-to-Image it will still work this way, though.
Using anything but imgur is less than optimal nowadays. Direct links to tinypic and some other sites are okay, but imgur combines the best of everything.

That game I turned two enemy ganks into triple kills with my slows and stuns. You act like I'm not helping my AD carry get fed.
