The problem with this game, is just that there are better games like it available. .__.
@Darkflame2006: What are you talking about? Crysis looked unbelievable at the time, and it still looks great today, but there are games that look better now. PC is always adapting, unlike consoles (i LOVE my consoles, though, don't get me wrong). That's because a PC is upgradeable. So what did you mean when you said what you did about Crysis? (I played both maxed out, I know that they do look good, trust me)
Who cares if theres a story? Thats not what this game is about, god forbid there isnt 8 hours worth of movie clips....
I love how steam already had a 25% off deal on l4d2 and the game hasn't even been out for two weeks! I laugh at all the suckers who just paid full price less then two weeks ago! I feel bad for the people who just paid 60 dollars for the 360 now that it's under 40 bucks on pc.
would be better if this game wasn't just on xbox, the first game was awful becuase there was no story at all, none at all just basically a $20 arcade game

Seems like just a big CS copy to me. Only you get only one team. Even the graphics aren't so brilliant.
Fat_Boy_Skinny You are going to see very little graphical improvement on console games now, the game engines used are maxed out to their potential and the next generation of consoles isn't due until 2012, so that's another 2 years of console games looking the same :P The only games i know of that still enhance graphics are from the Crysis series on PC.
Possibly one of Valves worst games ever. Such a let down.... IMO Go ahead and thumbs down me, fan-boys! Like I give a crap. @jjmonster2006 There's no way in hell this is better then TF2! Can't even compare the two except they both use the same engine.
Why would you despise Valve? Valve pushed the idea of physics in games to a whole new level. What do you mean by yearly installment?
I'm actually totally getting into this game. At first I started to despise Valve for this yearly installment crap, but it's shaping up to be a better value and overall lasting experience than the first.
looks like the same old stuff to me, but now we made gas cans interactive lol.... This must be the reason it takes less than a year for them to make these games.
They should make a new mode where 16 players are humans, if they die, they turn into infected and kill the remaining humans. Got this idea from counter-strike mods.
Haha, "The Jockey is riding Rochelle!" Priceless. I have to wonder how the Spitters interacting with gas cans in this mode is going to play out. It sounds like it could inspire much griefing, if the Spitters are just running around getting rid of them instead of going anywhere near the Survivors. Also, what's with the crosshairs that appear around 00:18 on that Charger? Is that aim assist (since it IS the console version), or another one of the incredibly annoying visual cues, this time screaming SHOOT HERE PLZ to the player? I really hope all of these notices at the bottom disappear after the player has had just so much experience. Otherwise we'll all have to tolerate the game babying us with messages like "Click the left mouse button to shoot!" for the entire experience. Oh, and there seems to be a lot of motion blur here. Maybe I disabled mine in L4D, though. Anyway, eagerly awaiting the demo release! I plan to preorder this weekend.

Halo 3 anyone or how about COD 6 most sequels dont change the formula only improve it and this game looks awesome a vast improvement to the first a pletera(however u spell it) of weapons this time,more violence, more SI ,new game modes and in general more of all the good stuff, what more could u ask for in a sequel?
If that guy is a beta tester, he should be canned. How the *&%$ does a @$%& ass player like that get to be in a deal like that to play an unreleased game. HE SUCKS SO BAD that I just want to freak out! Like really! A fn' 8 year old can play better then that. Hire me I'll do it! I'm good! And have found glitches in every game I ever played. DOUCHE!!!! People are going to see that and be like"This game is a joke" but its not the games fault. Its the dumb ass player! ARRGGGG!!!!!! WTF
i remember when duke nukem atomic edition came out; they released the plutomium pak to upgrade it for ppl who already had duke. but not valve... nooooo just milk away your lame success
