This game doesnt fit PS3 So all you people who want it on PS3 Forget it! number 2 is already out now so they wont put it on PS3 so buy a 360 then!
Four chaps, with levels in them which on expert takes up 3 hours... Well as far as I got. So rent it if you don't to buy it yet.
looks like fun, but i can't see spending $50-60 on this game for only four chapters amybe once the game gets more content or the price lowers i will get it, but not until then...
They seem to, although talk of a ps3 release for this is on, but valve said EA would have to handle it all, kinda like the orange box.
why not for ps3?? do valve hate ps3 or something. not like i really want the game. there are lots of good games on ps3 specially in october.
the demo rocked so hard and it is 2 maps and the real has 20 or more and zombie plabul 100/100.

The fact the game plays out differently makes this game replayable no matter how times i play it! I had to stop playing the demo as i was wasting my life away on 2 levels...Play.com have posted it, all i have to do now is wait...
What is with everyone saying it's so short, if you play on expert (which I did from the first time I played the demo) it takes hours to do 1 or 2 chapters. I've played on the demo for about 7 hours with good people and I haven't even completed the second chapter!

Im not saying this becuase im a 360 fanboy, i have a PS3. But there was a report that Gabe Newell the head of Valve, hates the PS3 and doesn't like developing for it, so its not just random that its not on PS3 im pretty sure its cuase Valve dislikes it. They didn't even make the Orange box for it, EA ported it...poorly.
I must admit, I'm not a fan of the atmosphere or how unrealistic it seems. I was hoping for a more Silent Hill like atmosphere and CoD4 like gameplay (never played Counter Strike), but it still looks fun. But it may aswell have pit you against enemy soldiers as opposed to zombies. Without the atmosphere it's just not the same.
I agree with Acob101 a 100%...The demo is ridiculously good and I played it a million times. I can't wait for the full game
This game seems to be great... I do not know why it won't come in PS3... it is the reason why I've got both console... This game has been developed using the same engine of Counter Strike... if Counter Strike was great why won't this game?
this game is SICK. i played the demo on 360 and holy S hit! this game is a crazy rollercoaster there are times where they come so fast so hard youll be sitting in your chair just yelling a battle cry as you let your whole clip out and there wills till be 30 more running at yah like 28 days later. this game is gonna be awsome......and aaron123 is right ive played the demo 15 times so far and it had never been the same ever. its not like there are 4 diffrents ways they will come so its "random" it really has been random even when they come out of the wood works and charge yah they all wont come from the same area they will come from everywhere this game is nasty.
Ninjarocklee, do some research before you go spouting off like you know what you're talking about: Left 4 Dead features an A.I. Director that monitors the status of how the team is playing and creates enemy spawns and weapon/item map spawns based on that to make peaks and valleys of tension, much like an actual drama plays out. Every time you play, the spawns and thus the game scenarios always play differently. If you're playing on Expert, the most difficult setting, each game is drastically different than the last, even if on the same map. Don't take my word for it--try the demo out for yourself on PC or X360. Or don't, and continue to make assumptions about something you've never tried.
That is kinda weird that its not on ps3, they could really maximize sales...but you dont even need a beast of a computer to run it my friends comp has a dual core and a geforce 7000 series card and it runs just fine in intense situations on the low settings

people are stupid, Every game is the same, Every game replays itself. Consider COD4, you play the same map, same weapons, and the same perks and skills. Nothing new but you keep playing it. Truly every game is different in size but they are all repetative and thats why no matter what game you get bored of it some time or another.
This is the first game after a lot of games where i actually bought the game right after playing the demo...its loads of fun
