Griphook character stud?

i have completed all the levels and i am now redoing them on freeplay and i know you need griphook in other levels. I know the griphook character stud is in gringotts but when i go in and wave to griphook, he disappears and i cant get past that lock he has to open because hes not there :S.. has anyone got griphook yet?

You can switch characters in Free Play mode by hitting the left and right shoulder buttons, I believe, and Griphook should be one of the available characters in that level. When you hit the button, your character on screen will cycle through all of the available ones--it's not the same way you take control of other characters in Story Mode. I'm playing on the PS3 version, and you push Triangle to take control of other characters, but you push R1 and L1 to cycle during Free Play. I don't know the buttons in the 360 version, but it should show them in the book if nothing else.

    Griphook is found in a locked box in level 1 of year one, before you open the final 2 vaults to clear the level you will see the lock box on the far right of this final bit of the level. You need reducto spell to blast it open tho

    On the Wii, use the 1and 2 buttons to cycle through characters in free play
