How do I beat the Basilisk?

If you look to the sides of the arena, you'll see a few piles of grayish rocks. Wait for the basilisk to target you with his laser vision, and as it disappears move out of the way. He'll headbutt the rocks, damaging him. Once he's destroyed all of the rock piles, you can get the ingredients for a strength potion from the rock rubble. Use it and pull the chain to the left. The phoenix will fly in, and pluck out the basilisks eyes. You might have to shoot the basilisk once or twice, then bring both of your characters up to the pipe in the upper left and pull the chains and the same time. Jump in the pipe, hop up the ledge, use the purple spell on the sorting hat and a sword will come out, and move the sword on to the little purple thing, it'll stab the basilisk and it'll be over.
