Lost lesson on freeze/reload on Xbox360?

My Xbox froze mid level somewhere after learning Riddukulus. When I reloaded the game, it loaded to after the lesson, but none of my characters retained the spell and when I reenter the classroom there is no way of relearning it. How do I regain this spell so that I can proceed with the game?
