really? kirbys epic yarn? youre gonna get fun of by almost everyone if you get caught playing that childish game
Gamespot have finally made a great choice featuring, the game of show, Kirby's Epic Yarn. I thought that they would choose another typical hardcore shooter instead they totally surprised us with a simple yet amazing core platformer. I definitely support Kirby, infact I am quiet glad that we did not witness another HD or FPS games as game of show. Further more, Kirby DOES NOT SUCK and I am sure that Team Kirby worked hard on the stage designs, textures and backgrounds. The Wii sucks? Seriously? It is not as graphically intensive as it's rival consoles but that doesn't even matter when you have phenomenal games for the entire family. I think the Wii is owning the year if you mention some of their new games and hardware: Metroid the other M The Legend of Zelda Wii SMG 2 The 3DS - UNREAL - Wii Motion plus - OUTSTANDING - I would like to conclude this comment with repeating want FixeRNK said earlier: "Everything thats simple...is genius" Thank you Gamespot Thank you Nintendo Thank you Sony Thank you Microsoft Thank you EA Thank you Ubisoft Thank you for making E3 such a success !_!
I'm happy that Kirby's Epic Yarn won E3 Best of Show because it was like the biggest suprise this year at E3. Every other game was expected...but no one expected Kirby and esp his own game. So thats why it won game of show
whoever it was that said *kirby how old are you guys* needs to lighten up. they are old enough to realise a exciting game when they see one and old enough to no its not just HD shiny FPS or racing games that can be fun to play.

CASTLEVANIA LORDS OF SHADOW DIDN'T GET AN AWARD?????? The trailer blew me away i just loved it, its one of the best ive ever seen it's really epic. Castlevania is an awesome series i have played it since i was a kid love the story... this time we have the mastermind Hideo Kojima working on the game it has to be awesome and i think it's goin to be just look at the cast Patrick Stewart is participating the rain efect the soundtrack and the graphics from the demo are really great, it's really impressive i can't wait please let it be!!!!!!
dead space 2 is a sympol of awesomeness ... but gears of war 3 or halo reach deserved the xbox 360 throne more ... at least those games are exclusive .... or maybe .... this could be because dead space 2 is played better on xbox than on ps3 ... it could be , you know ?!
we're a;so missing a lot of games in this vidoe black ops , crisis 2 , the witcher 2 , AC brotherhood .... which also deserved some credit ..
kirby feels soo much like a downloadable game for xbox live .. and barly comparable with little big planet 2 or portal 2 ... or even limbo ...
I actually agree gamespot on Kirby's epic yarn, its just simple, artistic and old skool. It's like a treat for us retro gamers!

The guy sounds like a friggin robot. I'm all about Limbo, Dead Space 2, Journey, The Last Guardian, Killzone 3, The Old Republic. So many games. I'm enjoying my future already ;)
@ chuck32iii - Really?? Does this make every platformer "just a knock-off" of Super Mario Bros.? I'm sure Little Big Planet and Super Mario Bros., Kirby, and Donkey Kong are all the same game then huh? Seriously? Oozrat, I didn't say anything about kirbys a nock-off. I'm just saying its not fresh and new. I enjoyed kirby back in the day, The 80's. Yes I'm an old time gamer, But I just don't think kirby should of been first. Games are big money market. And I think someone was kissing someones :)

Dead Space 2 should be an improvement. I had high hopes for the first, but I noticed it didn't do good enough. Suggest more zero-g puzzles and combat?
So everybody's assuming that Portal 2 will come out for the 360 just because of a rumor and obvious selling points? For some reason, I doubt that will happen even though it will come out for the PC and PS3. I'm buying the PC version because I can create my own and download other user-created ones for free. See that trailer? I want to do that!
kirby epic yarn won? what?! okay, kirby is great, but seriously? game of show? Rage is 10x better than this game. And Rage wasn't even mentioned. and come on, dead space 2 rocks, but best xbox 360 game? Hello, its for ps3 too..... why didn't they actually choioose an Xbox360 exclusive to win best xbox 360 game? i mean come on, even a ten year old could figure that out... Also....Gamespot has been very cruel with their reviews lateley. especially on Transformers WFC and Lost planet 2. both of those games were rated 8.0 or 9.0 on other sites.
