A great game that's rough around the edges, but it still manages to be Fun.

- "Just plain fun"
I've always been an NFL fan, and Madden has been there for me when I've wanted to experience the NFL in my living room.
But with college and my job, I'm not available to play that much as before. This is where Madden 13 for the VITA comes in.
Let's start with the good Stuff =) :
Madden 13 Vita, looks pretty, sounds great, and most importantly, plays awesome! The moment you get to the main Menu, everything looks good, and Colin's soundtrack sounds awesome. When it comes to Playing a match, The loading times are good, compared to other VITA games (yes, I'm looking at you WipeOut 2048 XD), and the controls are almost identical that to the PlayStation 3, so you can say I immediately felt like I knew the controls. Although Madden 13 takes both touch paths, for better or worse, sometimes they do come in handy. Like picking a player while on defense, instead of cycling through with the buttons, or maybe just picking a play, and my favorite, drawing new Hot Routes for each player. Franchise Mode, Be an NFL Superstar modes are there too, although I can't say much since I've only played exhibition matches so far.
On to the bad stuff =,( :
No matter how fun Madden 13 for the VITA is, it still suffers a few bad things, and the one that will be most noted is the slow time when picking a play. When you are about to pick your play, let it be offense or defense, it may lag, and sometimes (but in rare cases) even freeze the game. This might cost you a few precious seconds of your game, since it can become a bit unresponsive. Thankfully, this only happens during picking a play, aside from that, everything is fine. Some touch controls feel tacked in, and some are unresponsive, like when calling a fake move or when your running the rear touch pad might detect that want to spin to a side, when you never wanted to (This costed me a touchdown ¬¬). And last, at some rare cases, the sound teared itself after picking a play, but thankfully this happened to me in rare cases. Oh, and the games might take a long time to finish, leading to a lot of battery usage.
Final Verdict:
Madden 13 for the VITA, certainly has it's flaws to be noted, especially the lag time while picking a play. But aside from that, Madden 13 is still fun, and you'll enjoy every successful run, every catch, every tackle, and every sack you make in the game.
Go Texans!!! =)
