i am agree with one of the game spot users (@fiend_warrior): Gamespot seems to be a little harsh on Nintendo games..

I think one of the new tracks is the island resort from that Wii Sports Resort. If it is, then I'm still buying it with a 3DS

Definitely adding this to my list of reasons to get a 3DS...

they should make one item that is able to block against the blue shell, that way its not totally dominant

i may hate nintendo and mario, but i did have a ton of fun playing mario kart on the wii..wait will this game have bikes or just karts? the bikes were what made it fun.

I wil buy this when the 3DS batteries last longer, cause this game looks really fun and I want extended play. :) Go Nintendo!

@nintendo-naut I 100% agree. It makes me so angry when I play Mario Kart DS at your 100 yards from the finish in 1st place then BAM the guy at the back whacks you with a blue shell and you finish 4.

Thumbs me down all you want, but there's no point in being good at a game if you just get slammed by the guy in 12th place on the 3rd lap.

People call me weird, but I like the handheld ones more than the console ones. MK DS > MK Wii

They're actually calling it "Mario Kart 7"? I actually find that kinda awesome.

Well if you have a keen eye, you might have noticed something good. The wings on the blue shell were gone, so it is now back on the ground where it belongs.

Rosalina is in. +1 buy.

Nope. Not buying it. I refuse to buy a another Mario Kart game that has the spiny shell.

Dammit. I wasn't planning on getting this game anytime soon but it looks like a must-have with all the additions. I was most impressed with the fire flower power you can now use. :)

Not much to say cause it Mario kart so we know going to be good but I'm happy it looks good and I've been playing Mario Kart since it came out on the SNES.

This looks awesome and wayyy better looking than Mario Kart DS, which I've spent a lot of time on.

Oh cool a new first person view mode!New Fire Flower! Optional paths by propeller and glider! Not auto death if you go for a swim! AWESOME! My 3DS is gunna be busy this winter!

Nice! The Water Propeller and Glider open new paths! and Awesome new fire flower item, and AWESOME First Person Mode :D

@FuzzyFelt Actually it looks MUCH better than the DS with the dark shading touches of the Wii one, you cant truley judge a games quality with video alone
