Does this game have a campaign like Power Tour

I mean the one you play as generic character and get into academy of tennis to train and develop your skills.....that was soo fun

It does not. Open was created to be more like the console games, not the RPG-esque handheld prequels.

Hot Shots Tennis: Get A Grip for PSP immediately comes to mind. Like this game, it has costumes and accessories for your character that change their stats and appearance, with multiple playable characters to unlock overall in a story mode where you play against computer controlled characters. Very fun and polished gameplay as well. I firmly recommend it.

Wow! I'm glad I asked
I've just seen a few screenshot and I think that's the kind of game I'm looking for.
Will definitly hunt for it! I've just gotten into tennis recently, watched Australia Open and got hooked hehe. I was actually planning to learn how to play but I don't have any friend who's interested to learn tennis as well.

This game is still really good for the gameplay though depending on how much you like it. I'd at least give it a try.

And if you're ever into MTO and looking for some friendly, equally grounded games come by our chatzy and you'll find them in no time with us. ;3 (as long as you're from NA. if not, then...ops ;A

Thanks for the info, I'm Australian.
I've seen some gameplay footage from youtube though. I don't think this game's for me. this looks like it focuses too much on chasing a sweet spot for somewhat special spot....the power shot in power tour feels much more like fun tennis to me.
